Chapter 4

"I think i have a crush on Enzo"

So it finally begun, Val told the girls and they went wild. They  were giggling and making fan girl noises. The boys in our class thought we were crazy while the girls were just brushing it off knowing full well we were talking about boys. Im quite surprised yet nervous why they weren't asking or getting in our drama. Even so, im glad their minding their own business. If they knew, they would teased me none stop. The girls kept on talking about me and Enzo on what had happened yesterday. Everytime we would talk about our crush, they would often bring that situation up. To make it obvious i had a crush on him I would try and steal glances on him from class and on the hallways. The girls believed it.

This was now happening for almost a week and im glad im being a part of the "crush talk". It was now a Thursday morning and I arrived at class early. I didn't take the bus this time since my mom had gone off to work early and had offered me to drop me off. So here I am now. There weren't so many students in school since they would take the bus. So it was only me and 2 boys im not quite close to. I sat at my seat and for 2 minutes i have grown nervous. I felt like someone was staring at my back and knew it was one of the boys that I have no idea what he's name is. I felt uncomfortable as they started whispering and I heard my name came out of their mouth so i stood up and went for the door. As i was about to open it, the door opened by itself and in front of me was none other than, Enzo Sonnez himself. The blonde boy was towering over me as he was about 68.2 inches tall while i was only 64 inches tall. He looked down at me and greeted me. "Good morning, Akira" he said with a gentle yet sleepy voice as he looked behind my back and saw the two boys. "Good morning Enzo" i said with a small smile. He smiled back as he moved to the side and gestured me to go out. I thanked him with a nod as i stepped outside. For about 3 minutes later i felt someone leaning against the balcony beside me. I turned to my right and saw him again. "What are you doing?" I asked. "What does it look like im doing? Im chilling here cuz the room was suffocating me" he said as he rest his head on his palm. "Suffocating you? But the room was very spacious?" I said giving him a look. He turned to looked at me and we were staring into each others eyes. His eyes were such a beautiful pair of hazel brown and it was even more amazing to look at since his eyes were shining beautifully from the ray of the sun as i couldn't help but stare. It was silent as we were just staring into each other until he broke it. "So what are you doing in school so early?" He asked. "My mom went to work early so she decided she'll drop me off to school" i said not breaking eye contact. "Oh..I thought you were excited for school.." he said as he smirked. I scrunch my face when he said that, "Ha? Me? Excited for school? You must be joking!" I said as i laughed and he followed. "Well you do have good grades..." He said as the wind blew our hair like in the scene of every romance movies. "Well yeah..but im not really that smart.." i said as i looked at the sky. "Your joking aren't you?" He said. I turned to him as I asked; "why would I be joking?" "Well you have good grades and your a part of the honor students" he said with a "duh" face and tone. I giggled "yeah i guess so..but im not that smart like Valerie and Katelyn.." i said as more students kept on arriving "well you might not be as smart as Valerie and Katelyn but your pretty smart and talented" he said with a smile. "You must be joking?" I said as I raised both my eyebrows. "Why do girls suddenly turn insecure when people compliment them?" He groaned as he rolled his eyes. "Well, maybe that compliment of yours is a lie" I said as I just shrugged. "You must be joking?" He said as he frowned. I just giggled and shake my head as i saw my friends arrived. "Welp looks like your girls have arrived" he said in a teasing tone. "Well at least my girls are here, where are your guys?" I said as I teased back. He looked down and pointed at his 4 best friends. "Over there" he grinned. I scoffed as i rolled my eyes as he mimicked my action. "Hey!" I said as i gave him a light smack on his arm. "Ouch! Hey that hurts!" He gave me a pout as i rolled my eyes once again. "That was so light, you dramatic baby!" I said as he shake his head no. "Well then smack me.." i said as i gestured him to smack my arm. "Woah, im not hitting a girl" he said as he shook his hands at me. "Why? Is it because girls are weak?" I said in a slight mad tone. "What? No! Im not hitting you because my mom said its rude". "Oh.." my mouth shaped like an literal 'O' after he said that. "Wow your mom raised a gentleman?" I said teasing him. "Yep sure did" he grinned as he chuckled.

Before our conversation would continue I heard someone yell my name from the hallway. I turned around and saw Maya with Cassie waving her hand at me. I waved back and gave her a smile. Then I saw Katelyn running away from a teasing Mason and Valerie. "Our class is in our "in love" era's" Enzo said as he snort. "Yeah...but its funny with all the teasing ya know" I said with a chuckle. "Your only saying because the teasing is not on you" he said as he walked past me. "Oh and by the way.." he trailed off as he looked at me "yes?" I tilt my head in confusion. "Those guys won't stare at you anymore, your welcome" he said as he saluted at me as he ran towards Cole and Kaleb. I was confused for a second until i went to the classroom and saw the guys talking and when they saw me they looked away. I was a bit glad but curious on what Enzo did to them to not look at me. Well whatever it is, I hope he didn't get into trouble for it. I then went out and greeted my friends who is now throwing a bunch of questions for me.

Oh dear, what a morning.
