(BBS1-07) : A Shoulder to Lean On

Pop's POV

When they came back in Lea's room, Lea is still sleeping and she noticed that Anne and Romnick are talking quietly.

"Romnick pare, sasabay ka na ba pauwi?" Vic asked their friend since he already informed her na uuwi na ito.

"Oo pare, may kabayong manganganak sa hacienda e. Paano Pipay? Mauna na kami?"

"Sige, ingat kayo. Salamat ah!" She said kissed them both on the cheeks.

Nang makaalis ang dalawa ay inutusan naman niya si Anne na ibili sila ng pagkain.

She sat down beside Lea's bed.

Narinig naman niyang may pumasok sa pinto, when she turned around it's Sharon.

They hugged at hindi na niya napigalan ang maiyak. Her bestfriend has this power on her that provides her comfort.

"Sshhh.. don't cry Pipay. Lea is safe now. Her and the baby are fine." Pag a-alo pa nito.

"I felt so guilty Sha, I was away. I didn't even know she's going through something. We only have each other. When I heard what happened I just acted strong but I was so scared that I might lose her too." Umiiyak pang sagot niya. Her heart is really heavy especially seeing Lea at that state and knowing that there is also a baby involved made her fear for what might happened to them.

"Don't blame yourself, it's not as if you were in Canada for vacation diba? You were there for work."

Iginiya naman niya si Sharon paupo sa sofa.

"That's the thing Sha, my conference was over six days ago. I met a guy and stayed with him for 5 days. I've been ignoring messages and calls from here because I was enjoying too much."

Sharon looked at her in understanding.

"Still Pipay, you don't need to feel guilty about anything. No one see this coming. It was an accident and don't worry about Lea, she's a strong girl. She'll get through it."

"I know she is, my problem is once she wakes up for sure she will look for her bestfriend. How can I deliver the news that her saviour is in a critical condition? Lea will be broken again Sha. Bago pa lang siya nakaka recover from our loss. Kapag may nangyari kay Aga baka hindi niya kayanin." That's the other thing that worries her.

Lea is very dependent on Aga. Lea is a shy kid and very eccentric so she doesn't have much friends growing up other that her, Arci and the Benitez brothers and that's only because of Aga. If Aga died, Lea might not take it well.

"B-Babes?" She heard Lea stirred and open her eyes. She's now awake and the first person she's looking for is Aga. Babes is their terms of endearment.

"Lea?" She asked pagkatapos makalapit dito.

"Pipay let me check her first bago kayo mag-usap." Tumango naman siya at naghintay habang ini-che-check ni Sharon ito.

"She's alright. She might need to stay here for a week for full recovery. Let's just talk some other time okay?" She nodded at inihatid niya ito sa labas ng kwarto.

"Pipay, tell her the truth about Aga's condition, she will be more restless if hindi mo sinabi sa kanya believe me magtataka at magtataka siya lalo kapag hindi bumisita si Aga. We can't stress her like that lalo sa condition niya. Just deliver the news lightly." Paalala ni Sharon bago siya iwanan.

"Hi Lea" bati niya sa pinsan ng makalapit siya sa kama nito. Agad naman niyang hinawakan ang kamay niyo at hinaplos iyon.

"Ate? Where is Aga?" Lea asked with her voice laced with worry.
