(BBS1-12) : The Lonely Child

Sheryl's POV

When Martin stormed off, she followed him.

She knew he was hurting but what he did back there is unacceptable.

He found him pacing inside his bedroom.

"What the hell were you thinking Martin?!" She yelled at him.

"I don't know okay?! Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko nasabi yun sa kanya. All I know is that I'm hurt." He explained looking so helpless.

"Martin, hindi komo nasasaktan ka, kailangan mo na din manakit! Hindi niya kasalanan that she's not feeling the same towards you okay? Kung hindi ka niya mahal, hindi ka niya mahal! Ganun lang ka simple yun!" Binigyang diin niya lahat ng sinasabi niya hopinh knocked all the senses into his head.

"I've never felt like this before She... This is the first time I fell in-love. She could have been my bride but she chose him!"

"This isn't just about Pipay not loving you isn't it?" She asked but he didn't replied.

"This is all about Vic all along right? It's not that Pipay is marrying someone else, you are like that because it was HIM that she chose over YOU.  Hanggang ngayon ba Mart? I thought you were past that phase."

"I don't know what you are talking about She ." Paiwas naman nitong sagot.

"Fine, iiwasan mo na naman? Sige! Be that way! Pero sinasabi ko sa'yo Mart. I won't be a part of this show anymore."

"What? I thought you are my bestfriend!"

"I am, that's why I want you to do the right thing." She said at iniiwas ang tingin dito.

"What will I do?" He asked like a lost kid.

Her heart felt pity for her bestfriend. Martin has always been lost and just when he thought he was found he got lost again.

"Talk to them Mart. Say sorry to Pipay and tell everything to Vic. Tell him how you feel about his engagement with Pipay. Tell him everything that happened and tell him all your burdens. And I suggest you talk to your father too." She said, not wanting anything more but to help him out.

"And what good will it do to me She?"

"You'll be free. By then you can move-on from all the pain and anger that you kept in your heart for so long. Kasi whatever you feel for Pipay, it isn't love until you learn to love yourself. You do that and maybe, just maybe Mart you'll find real happiness. You deserve that." She said crying as she hugged her bestfriend.

All her life she had been Martin's support system. Martin was a shy timid kid. She became like his sister while growing up. Martin hates to be alone and he was always alone.

She worked so hard to make him feel that he's wanted and needed and she together with Sam succeeded that's why it hurts her a lot to see Martin looking like this. Alone, lost and vulnerable.

Anne's POV

She followed her Ate Pipay back to the hacienda Peñafranca after leaving Hacienda Benitez.

She had to walk all the way there because she refused na magpahatid kay Sam.

When she entered the living room she found her ate Lea sleeping on the sofa her head laying at Aga's lap while Aga is reading a book and his one hand is caressing her hair.

She really love their friendship.

"Kuya Aga?" Aga looked at her and put his finger over his mouth as if telling her to not be so loud because Lea is sleeping.

"What?" Aga said in a low voice.

"Have you seen Ate Pipay?" She asked mimicking the volume of his voice.

"She's upstairs. What happened? I saw her crying."

"Misunderstanding with your brother." She answered and was about to take a step to go to Pipay but was stopped by Aga's question.

"What? Kuya Vic did something to her ba?"

"No. It's Kuya Martin po." She answered. Nakita naman niyang tila nalilito ang mukha nito. "I'll explain later kuya, sundan ko lang si Ate." She said and walked towards Pipay's room.

She reached the the door of her room. She knocked but no one is answering, she turned the knob and found that the door is not locked.

-Pop's POV-

What Martin told her earlier made her mad but at the same time nervous.

She haven't thought of the possibility of her getting pregnant..

She doesn't have symptoms and her period is irregular kaya hindi niya alam.

And although she was hurt by what Martin said, nawala yun sa isip niya dahil sa posibilidad na baka buntis siya.

When she arrived home ay kaagad niyang nilapitan si Lea at Aga na nag uusap sa sofa.

"Lea? I need your help. Promise mabilis lang to." She said as Lea looked at Aga, agad naman tumango si Aga.

She gently dragged her cousin pa punta sa kwarto niya.

"What is it? And why are you crying Ate?" Lea asked in concern.

"Lei, may PT ka pa?" She directly asked not removing her eyes on her cousin so she'll know she's not joking.

"What the hell?" Lea said as her eyes widened.

"Lea, language! Ano meron pa ba?"

"Yeah.. Go to my bathroom I have two there sa drawer. Look ate, I want to be there when you check it but Aga is here and if I found out the result now baka aksidente kong masabi kay Aga if he asked what happened. So balitaan mo ako ha?" Lea said and she nodded. Thankful that her cousin understands that whatever the results is she can't risk anyone knowing yet.

She went to Lea's bedroom and looked for the PT. She immediately found it and did the test and waited for the result.

Agad na naman siyang napaluha ng makita ang resulta, she ran back to her bedroom and sat on the floor.

She just continued crying while holding the test in her hand.

"Ate Pipay?" She felt a hand touched her shoulder ni hindi niya namalayan na nakapasok na pala si Anne.

"Ate, stop crying na. You know what? Kuya Martin is a jerk. He shouldn't have said those!" Anne said habang patuloy na hinahagod ang likod niya.

"Anne... I'm not crying because of that.." she answered.

"Then bakit Ate? May masakit ba sa'yo?" Tanong pa niya at umiling siya.

"Anne.. I'm pregnant! And--"

"You're pregnant?!" Hindi naman niya naituloy ang sasabihin ng marinig ang gulat na tinig ng lolo niya.

Anne seemed to left the door open.

"Abuelo.."

"We have to get you married ASAP Penelope! Ngayon din ay pupunta tayo sa kabilang hacienda! Kailangang malaman ito ni Victorio!" Anang Lolo niya.
