Chapter 10:
*During lunch time*
I walk around campus searching for Niall. I wanted to see if he was okay. Plus I realized that I was kinda a loner without him.
"Poke." I hear and feel a poke behind me.
I quickly turn around expecting Niall.
"Got you!!" Heather says waving her hands in the air.
"Haha hey heather." I say laughing.
"Hmm.. you seem lonely.. Where's harry?" she asks raising her eyebrows.
"I dunno.. but I'm looking for my friend Niall." I say shrugging.
"What? Another boy?" she says widening her eyes.
"No.. Niall's my friend." I say.
"So... Harry is your.. crush?" she says covering her mouth.
"Noo! He's my......" I couldn't think of anything.
"Crush. It's obvs you like him." she says crossing her arms.
My heart has a mini heart attack.
"IT DOES?" I say freaking out.
"AHA!! You do like him!!!" She says pointing her finger at me.
"What? Wait.. I never said that!" I say crossing my arms.
"Ughh! You just did!" She says smacking her head with her hand.
"No.. You have no proof." I say.
I look around and spot a blonde haired guy walking far over on my left side. It was niall.
"Oh! There's Niall! Gotta run! Bye!!" I dash away from heather.
"Ugh! Ok see you in 5th period!" She yells at me.
"Niall!" I yell and fling my arms around his shoulders.
"Um.. Oh hey Sam.." He says turning to me and scratching the back of his neck nervously.
"Hey.. You left me all alone." I say playfully punching his arm.
"I know.. Sorry.. I just..." Niall takes my hand and gives me a reassuring smile. Before he could say anything else the bell rang.
"Aww..." I say wondering what he was gonna say.
"Um.. I'll just see you after class." Niall says letting go of my hands and slowly walking away. I pushed myself forward and grabbed his hands.
"Wait.. Tell me what you were gonna say." I plead.
"Uh.." He says turning a bit red.
"Please?" I say squeezing his hands.
"Alright.. Um.. I'm.. Starting to gain feelings for you Sam.." He says quickly looking away.
My heart literally stopped beating at that moment. It felt like time stood still. Just me, and him, standing there holding hands.
"Uh.. Sam?" He says trying to avoid eye contact.
"Me too." I immediately say.
"What?" Niall says.
"Well.. I've liked you since the beginning basically.." I say shrugging.
Niall's eyes open a bit.
The second bell started to ring.
"Oh gosh.. Sam.. I'll see you after." He says winking.
I was secretly hoping for a kiss on the cheek, sadly that was only in fairy tales. Niall's hands slip from mine. I see him walk away and realize, I was gonna be late to class.
