Chapter 13:
"Close your eyes." Harry says turning off the car engine.
"Harry." I say rolling my eyes.
"Please?" He asks giving me the puppy eyes.
"Ugh fine." I say closing them.
He helps me carefully out of the car. I feel around me and find him behind me. Harry places his hands over my eyes and leads me forward. The sound of our steps echoed, getting louder and louder every time we took another step.
"Where are we? And where are we going?" I say getting a bit worried.
"Don't be scared." He whispers in my ear.
"Harry.." I say stopping.
"It's okay. I'm right here." Harry gives me a hug.
"Erm.. Okay.." I say taking a few more steps.
I began to slowly trust Harry.
"We have to go up a couple stairs." He says.
"Great." I say sarcastically.
I take a step up and then another.
"Okay one more." Harry says making sure I don't fall.
"Ahh.. Are we there yet?" I say stopping.
"Almost." He says.
Harry gently pushes me, and I walk forward a couple more steps.
"Okay now you can open your eyes."
I open my eyes and see bright lights blinding my sight.
"Ouch." I say covering my face. After a few seconds, my eyes adjust and focus. I look at my feet and realize I was on a stage. Looking around, I see rows and rows of red velvet chairs.
"Harry why are we here?" I ask hiding behind him.
"Well.. You asked me what my job was.. And I.. Sing." Harry says.
My jaw drops open.
"Oh god.. I know it's embarrassing.. Make fun of me." He says.
"No no no! Its just that.. I never knew you had this side of you." I say.
"We'll I do.." He says spinning in a circle.
I laugh and walk off the stage, taking a seat in one of the chairs.
"Sing a song!" I shout.
"What? No.." Harry says scratching the back of his neck.
"Aww! Please? I wanna here you sing!" I say.
Harry sighs deeply, "Fine.. What song?"
"Um.... Anything." I say happily.
"Okay.. Hmm.. I wrote this one with my friend." Harry says grabbing a guitar from the side.
"Ohh okay!" I say shifting and getting comfortable in my seat.
"I'll just sing a bit of it." Harry says.
"Okay." I nod.
"You ready?" He asks me.
I nod looking up at Harry and he pulls a stool on stage. He looked perfect from my view. Harry places a capo on his guitar and plays a C chord.
"Alright." Harry says smiling at me.
I watch, and Harry starts strumming the beginning of the song.
