Chapter 23!

"Beep. Beep. Beep." A steady beat rings through my ears.

"Sammy?" I hear my mothers familiar voice.

I open my eyes and my mom was holding my hand smiling at me.

"Oh thank goodness." She sighs, relieved. I look around and I was in a tiny, neat room. We were at the hospital.

"Why are we here mom?" I sit up. My head hurt a bit, and I was dizzy.

"Take it easy Sam." She watches me carefully.

"Wait.. Where's Niall, Lizzy, and Harry?" I ask confused.

"They're outside." My mom taps my hand.

"Well, can I see them?" I plead.

"Alright." She thinks, then agrees.

I was left alone in the quiet room. I try to think about what had happened.

We were going to dinner for.. Harry's birthday. Aw crap. It was Harry's birthday.

"I just had to pass out today." I mutter, upset that I ruined it.

"Sammy?" Lizzy pokes her head in.

"Hey." I give them a small wave.

Lizzy runs and hugs me softly.

"We were soo worried! Jeez!" She says sitting on my bed.

Niall had his hands in his pockets and was looking at the floor.

"I'm glad your awake Sam. You scared me so bad." Harry turns a bit red.

"Aw.. And I'm sorry I ruined your birthday." I say.

"No no. It's okay." He chuckles.

"Oh yeah, I'm gonna go talk to the nurse to see if you can leave." Lizzy says quickly walking out.

"Oh.. I'll be right back." Niall says oddly, and follows her.

And here we were again. Me and Harry.

"Haha.. Well I'll take you out tomorrow or something. And no fainting." I say jokingly.

"No.. It's okay Sam. I'm just worried about you." Harry sits down on the chair next to my bed. He was still in his tux, but his hair was a bit messy.

"Whale.. I'm okay." I shrug.

"The nurse said.. That you had to much stress, and weren't really eating enough.. I think that's half my fault." Harry looks at me. His eyes green eyes locked onto mine. Dang he was hot.

"What why?" I say looking up.

"Stress. From me." He chuckles.

"Aha no! My sister I bet." I roll my eyes.

"Oh.. I don't think she likes me.." He looked a bit guilty.

"Noo.. She.. Just doesn't know you yet." I say punching him.

Niall's POV:

"Oh yeah, I'm gonna go talk to the nurse to see if you can leave." Lizzy says quickly walking out.

I remembered, I bough Harry a small gift. It wasn't really a gift but, I just decided to be nice so I bought him a gift card.

"Oh.. I'll be right back." I say following Lizzy.

"Where are you going?" Lizzy asks me as we were in the hallway.

"I bought Harry a gift.." I say quietly. She bursts out laughing.

"Funny niall.. Real funny." She says slapping her knee. I didn't see what was so funny. I really did get him a present.

"No. I really did!" I say trying to be serious.

"Hah! Okay. Whatever you say." She walks off, sassing me.

"Well." I say confused.

I had left the card with my jacket, which was where we were waiting earlier. I walk over to the waiting room and search my jacket for the card. Found it. I snatch it out and walk back to the room, where Sam and Harry were.

"Noo.. She.. Just doesn't know you yet." Sam laughs punching Harry. I was eavesdropping on them.

Carefully listening, I found that my fist was clenched tightly.

"Wait.. Sam. Can I try something?" He asks her.

"Hmm. Sure." She agrees.

I already had a bad feeling about this. He slowly starts to lean forward getting close to her.

No. No. No. He was going to kiss her. Sam's eyes looked confused/scared.

He leans forward and...
