Chapter 24:

Niall's POV:

"Wait.. Sam. Can I try something?" He asks her.

"Hmm. Sure." She agrees.

I already had a bad feeling about this. He slowly starts to lean forward getting close to her.

No. No. No. He was going to kiss her. Sam's eyes looked confused/scared.

He leans forward and...

And..

Flicks her nose.

"Ah!" Sam yells jumping.

"Haha scared you!" Harry laughs.

"Ugh." I roll my eyes.

Oh crap. I think they heard me.

"Niall?" Harry calls me.

"Oh hey guys." I pretend like I wasn't listening to them. Thank goodness he didn't kiss her. If he did, I wouldn't be able to do anything.

I glance over to Harry and he looked annoyed, typical.

"Where were you?" Sam asks me, smiling. I loved it when she looked at me like that. She was beautiful.

"Oh I went to go get Harry's gift." I pull it out of my pocket and throw it on Harry's lap.

"Oh.. Thanks." He says surprised. I nod back.

"Aww niall. That's nice." Sara says peeking at the card.

"It's just a gift card." I shrug.

"Thanks. It means a lot. I don't usually get gifts." He examines the gift card happily.

"Yeah. No problem.." I say. Maybe Harry wasn't a bad guy. He didn't really have anyone, like no family, and friends. So, maybe I should be nice to him. I would be okay with him, but he just kept hitting on Sam. Sam was mine. For now, I just decided to see if I would be able to trust him.

"Hey! Sam we can go home!" Lizzy says jumping in.

"Ugh thank goodness. I miss my bed." Sam pouts.

"I'll help you up..." Me and Harry say at the same time. Should I just help her? Or let him help her?

"Um.. It's okay guys." She sits up and slowly gets up. She rocks back and forth a bit and Harry holds her arm, helping her balance. I couldn't stand it when he got close to her.

"I'm just gonna wait outside." I don't look back.

"Niall.." Sam stops me as soon as I open the door. I turn a little, give her a smile smile, and walk out. I don't know why I walked out on them, I just didn't know what to do. I meet Sam's mom. I brought her here, so I was her and Sam's ride home.

"It's okay Niall." Her mom places a hand on my shoulder.

"Huh?" I jump startled.

"I know.. You like Sam. And your upset because of Harry." She winks at me. How did she know?!

"Uhm.." I look away.

"Don't worry. You'll find someone someday. Maybe Sam, maybe another girl. Nobody knows. Just keep your head up Niall." She comforts me.

"Thank you.." I say politely, feeling a bit better.

"Mom. I'm ready to go." Sam's arm was linked with Lizzy's. Harry was just following from behind.

"Alright sweetie. I already checked out. Lets go home." Her mom gives me a quick glance and helps Sam on the other side. I guide them to my car and Sam sits in the front while her mom sits in the back.

"Alright guys. See you tomorrow. Harry is taking me home." Lizzy says waving.

"Bye!" Sam blows her a kiss.

Harry smiles and leads Lizzy to his car.

"Um.. Thanks for coming niall. And brining Harry a gift. That was really sweet." Sam says putting on her seatbelt.

"Anytime." I say smiling at her.

"Ahem.." Sam's mom coughs in the back.

We all laugh, and Sam plants a quick kiss on my cheek.
