thirteen - 'why would we need guards?'

The three ten year olds walked through the building like they owned the place, in perfect step with each other as they headed towards their target.

Their guns were raised as they took out anyone and everyone who served as a threat to them, their focus solely on the man cowering in fear on the other side of the building.

Luna sported a scowl; she wanted to use her knives but her triplets told her 'it would be quicker to just use guns'. She didn't agree.

The Italian soldiers just kept coming, multiplying like a hydra, attempting to snuff the young yet mighty assassins out.

The hydra is a Greek beast, believed that for every one of it's heads is sliced off, two grow in its place.

That's what the Italian soldiers were doing, yet the triplets never faltered, easily taking them down and continuing their journey.

They burst into the office (that was no longer guarded by members of the Italian mafia) that accommodated one of the rats; the second in command.

One of the soldiers found out about him but couldn't approach the don or his brothers about him because he had no proof - only a phone call that he accidentally heard.

The soldier put a bounty up for the second in command, and that is exactly what the triplets were there to fulfill.

Behind the desk cowered a grown man - hiding from three ten year olds.

They smirked at one another before Luna crouched down to his level, tilting her head with a feigned pout.

"Are you scared? Do you want mercy?" She asked, bringing her hand up to run it through his hair.

"P-p-please I-I have a family."

"You have a family? That's rich. You should have thought about that before you betrayed the Italians, hm?" Drake added in from behind her.

He shook his head frivolously, tears falling down his cheeks as he pled with his eyes to be shown mercy, to leave with his life.

A sick smirk overtook the young girls face.

That is when the man knew that his pleas would not be answered.

That is when the traitor of the Italian mafia knew that this was it.

"Say hi to lucifer for me, darling."

BANG!

Flashback Over.

"I've found us a mission."

It's 8am and Theo just woke up, I hardly slept. I had a nightmare as soon as I fell asleep and woke up at 12:30am, since then, I've been looking for human trafficking rings.

It didn't take long to find one, a local gang. They're powerful, one of the most powerful out there, but it won't be tricky.

They're vacuous , to put it nicely. They have one warehouse, and that warehouse is where everything happens. It's their headquarters and the only building they own.

I already got a floor plan and paid somebody off to give me their security rota. It's shit, to say the least. The security members only guard the entrances, the windows aren't bulletproof, and the gate isn't guarded.

Like I said, vacuous.

Nobody has tried to take them down before, no other gangs would dare to pick a fight with them and mafias either don't care or have bigger problems. They've grown cocky.
