I suddenly freeze. "Robin? Hey, what's wrong?" Steve's voice sounded mumbled. "Robin!" I can see his hands in front of my face but everything is blurry. Nancy suddenly walks by us but stops as she notices Steve and me. "Steve!! What happened??" There's genuine panic in Nancy's voice. "S-She just froze!!" He starts to stutter. Nancy suddenly drops one of her binders that managed to wake me up instantly. "Robin! Oh, Thank God. You scared us!" He hugs me, I hug him back.
"I don't know what happened, sorry for scaring you guys, that wasn't my intention."
"Yea, it's fine. Well, we better get going, no one wants to spend a night locked inside of a school." Nancy laughs.
"Yeah, right." Steve wraps his arm around me and I do the same.
Steve leaves and it's just me and Nancy. I never got to tell him about her.
--NANCY'S P.O.V.--
I glance at Robin and see her looking at the floor and fiddling with the hem of her flannel.
"Hey, Rob." I tap her on the shoulder
"Oh, uh hey Nance!" She jumps at the sudden shoulder tap.
"Did I scare you?" I laugh.
"Just a bit, haha" She giggled.
"Wanna sleep over at my house? Only if it's 100% okay with your mom of course!" I smile.
"My mom doesn't care where I am so, yeah sure." She agrees. I say nothing, I just nod. Does her mom seriously not care? Why do I care? It's not my business.
—TIMESKIP—
"Jesus, Nance. You have such a big house" Robin laughs.
I laugh along with her "Yeah, my parents have like a lot of money, but they don't use it very wisely at times."
"Makes sense." she places her hands in her pockets.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"Yeah, I've just never been to someone's house before." She nervously laughs.
"Yeah, I understand, going to people's houses for the first time can be super nerve-wracking!" I agree with Robin. We make our way to my room before Michael stops us.
"Hey, Robin!" He yells
"Hey!" She nervously smiles.
"Micheal, can't you see we were going to my room?" I roll my eyes. My mother and father continue to make their way upstairs because Michael was practically yelling.
"What is going on here!?" My dad has his hand on his forehead.
"I'm trying to show Robin my room but Micheal won't stop talking!"
"Nancy, honey that is not very nice. Take that back."
"See, even mom is on my side!"
"Your mother isn't picking sides, Michael."
"How come El can't come over then?"
"Honey, she lives in California."
"But mom!"
"Micheal, listen to your mother."
