I stared at Nancy, confused.
"What secret, Nance?"
"I like you too, I just didn't know how to say it."
My jaw lowered. Nancy wheeler liking me? This can't be. "Nancy, I understand." A smile crept up on her face.
"I don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable, Robin. I just wanted to let you know how I felt because I knew that I wouldn't be able to keep in it for much longer. I'm sorry if this isn't making sense you're just the first girl that I have a big crush on so this is like really new to me." Nancy rambles, I find it very adorable.
"Hey, nance. Don't worry, you're fine. It's okay, you're okay." I try my best to comfort her.
--NANCY'S P.O.V.--
Once I admit my feelings for Robin I start looking at her lips. Nancy cut it out stop looking at her lips. I don't listen to myself and continue to stare absentmindedly.
"Nancy? Are you having a staring contest with my lips right now?" she laughs. Crap. Come up with something Nancy. "Uh, I was just noticing how soft they look!" that's the gayest excuse I've ever heard in my life.
"My lips are soft?" she cupped my face and pulled me closer to hers "do you wanna find out if you're right?" my heart starts racing. Should I kiss her? My thoughts are interrupted when I suddenly feel her hands let go of my face and her body pull away.
"Wait, why'd you stop?" I asked, my face red from what Robin had just done.
"You wanted me to continue? I'm flattered but let's save this for our first date, yeah?" she smirks at me.
"uh yeah, yeah sure." I get up to go to the bathroom and try to process what just happened.
"Hey, fellas!" Micheal bursts my bedroom door open and goes to sit next to robin who's sitting down on my bed.
I rush out of the bathroom and look at Micheal. "It's almost midnight mike, what are you doing in my room?!"
"I'd just thought I should check up on my older sibling, especially when there's another girl in your room," He says taking a bite out of his banana.
"Ooo Nancy wheeler having to be checked up on when someone's staying over?" Robin looks me up and down.
"Maybe I should stay here so nothing happens, our walls can be pretty thin at times." He laughs.
"MICHEAL!" I hit his shoulder.
"Ouch! Are you seeing this, Robin?" He turns towards her.
"Yeah, not like I can do anything." She runs her hand through her hair. she is right, what is she supposed to do?
"Well, I'm gonna get going, got to get enough sleep for hellfire tomorrow!" He shuts the door behind him.
"Get back on the bed, Nancy." Robin pats the area next to her. I sit down and she wraps her arm around me, we're sitting close to each other.
"Hey, Robin? I have a question." I play with the ends of my hair.
"Whatsup?" She looks at me.
"Have you ever officially dated a girl before?"
"Not really, why? Do you want to be the first one?"
"I-uh I wouldn't mind that, at all. I'd like it." I smile.
"Perfect." She leans in and kisses my cheek. My whole face goes red once again, I can feel the butterflies in my stomach. I'm in love with Robin Buckley, this just doesn't feel real.
--TIMESKIP TO NEXT DAY--
It's already the next day, I usually wake up by myself but I have someone with me, my girlfriend, Robin Buckley.
"Hey! Rob! Get up!!" I start to shake Robin.
"Huh, why? What time is it?" She rubs her eyes sleepily.
"It's 6:00 am! We have to get ready for school!" I'm frantically looking for an outfit while robin is checking the time on her watch. I turn around after finally putting on my outfit and see that robin is just about to put her shirt on when she suddenly spots me staring.
"I caught you staring, wheeler." she laughs and continues to put on her clothes. Once she finishes she comes over to me, cups my face, and kisses me. I get that same feeling I got last night but this time I kiss her back, she tastes like strawberries, and her lips are as soft as they looked, I didn't realize how long we had been kissing until Michael came into my room.
"OH MY GOD!! PUT A DO NOT DISTURB SIGN, NANCY!!" he exclaims. I suddenly back away from Robin and walk over to my bedroom door.
"Maybe knock, Micheal!!" I yell at him. My parents rush upstairs after they hear me yelling at Mike.
"What happened?!" My mother is looking at both of us.
"Nancy needs to learn that she can't be kissing girls whenever she feels like it! I mean what if I or holly walk in? WE'RE GONNA BE SCARRED!! No one needs to see their sister kissing someone! Especially girls!!" He rambles not realizing he just outed me to our entire family.
"Nancy, honey. Were you kissing, Robin?" my mother looks as if she's worried for me like I have some sort of sickness. Tears start to form in my eyes, Robin realizes but can't do much. I'm not going to waste my energy on them so, I grab my backpack and grab robin by the hand.
--AT SCHOOL--
Once we arrive at school Robin takes me to the bathroom, I was very confused as to why. She takes me into a stall and kisses me, I again kiss her back knowing we wouldn't have to worry about anyone walking in on us. The first bell rings and we both walk to our lessons. After class, we meet up in the hallway and ask each other how our classes were, while doing so Steve and Vickie come towards us.
"We've been looking for you guys!" Vickie looks at Robin and ignores me.
"Yeah, sorry, I've been hanging out with Nance." she holds my hand, and I smile. Steve comes to where Vickie is standing. Steve and Vickie notice Robin is holding my hand.
"Are you guys like close friends?" She inquires. Robin looks at me and I nod.
"You might wanna sit down for this, Vickie. You too, Steve." Robin is holding my hand even harder.
. Sorry that this chapter is so short, I was hitting a few bumps while writing. I am also very sorry if this chapter isn't as good, I tried my best and I am somewhat proud of how it turned out! Poor Nance, though :(. Please remember to eat and stay hydrated!! Much love, Cal <3
