—NANCY'S P.O.V.—

"Mrs. Wheeler, You're 8 minutes late. Care to explain?" I hadn't even placed my foot down on the floor.

"I woke up late, Mr. Burcher. It won't happen again I swear." I close the classroom door behind me.

"It better not, Mrs. Wheeler. Now, please sit down." he points to my seat, I walk over there and sit. He then continues the lesson. Once the bell rang I grabbed my backpack and head out the door.

While looking for Robin I feel a sudden tap on my shoulder, I turn around to find out it's my brother, Michael, once again.

"What do you want now?" I say, running my hand through my hair.

"We need to go straight home after school." Micheal keeps checking his phone.

"I always go straight home after school, I'm confused."

"I know, I'm simply repeating what mom told me to say, so, don't get mad at me." He puts his hands up.

"What mom told you to say?" My face is puzzled.

"Yeah? It doesn't matter. Just, please make sure you don't forget me." He silently laughs and then walks off. That was strange. I look at my watch while trying to spot Robin in the group of people in the hallway.

"Nance, hello, earth to Nancy??" A familiar voice calls out.

It's Robin. "Oh hey! I've been looking for you. Where were you?" I ask.

"In the humongous crowd of people, I'm shocked I spotted you before you spotted me." She lets out a laugh.

"Everyone looks the same, Robin."

"Rude! Are you saying I look like every other person in this school? I'm deeply hurt by the way you think, my love." She places her hand on her head and pretends to faint. The bell rings and it's time for the last period of the day. Robin and I wave each other goodbye and head off to our last classes like we always do.

ROBIN'S P.O.V.—

I step inside the classroom and take a seat. I pull out my notebook and some colorful pens, and I start writing down everything the teacher wrote down on the board.

"So can anyone tell me what 1827 x 39 - 7 equals?" Mrs. Perry is looking at all the students to see who isn't paying attention, sadly I'm one of those students.

"Mrs. Buckley? Can you answer the question?" I hear her call my name.

"Yes, the answer is 71,246." Thank God I'm good at math.

"That is correct, Mrs.Buckley! Good job." She claps.

TIMESKIP—

The bell rings and everyone grabs their bags, when I head out I see Nancy and Micheal waiting for me. I walk over to them completely forgetting our conversation just a couple of hours ago.

"Hey, guys! What were you doing waiting here? That must be so boring." I laugh

"Robin! Let's go!" Nancy pulls my arm and we start walking toward her car. We step into her car and stayed silent the whole ride to her house.

"We're here, let's go." Nancy opens my door and grabs my hand.

"Do we have to?" I groan.

"Yes, Babe, we do come on." she grabs my arms with both hands and pulls me up from the seat. Once we enter the house we are greeted by a not-so-happy Karen Wheeler.

NANCY'S P.O.V.

I walk in and see my mom standing there with her arms crossed looking directly at me, with a mad expression.

"Nancy and Robin, please sit down." she walks towards the couch and we follow behind her.

"What's this about, mom?" I ask worriedly.

"This, Nancy. What is this!?" She pulls out an empty bottle of beer. "This was in your room, Nancy. Are you drinking behind me and your father's back?" I forgot to throw that out, damnit. "Answer me, young lady." My mother's voice suddenly snaps me out of my trance.

"Yes? I was having a hard day, okay? I had no one to talk to, plus, I'm almost an adult now, mom!" I snap.

"You had someone to talk to Nancy. Micheal, give me the telephone." Michael walks over to her and hands her a phone.

"What is that," I stand up. "Michael! Did you record Robin and I's conversations!? What the hell is wrong with you!" I walk over to him and slap him.

"It was mom's idea! I swear!! I was just listening to her!" Tears start to fill up his eyes. I just hit my little brother.

"Nancy, listen to your brother I did-" I cut my mother off. "You're horrible, you're invading my privacy! What makes you think any part of this is okay?? You're an adult you should know better, especially when recording your own child's private conversations. How would you feel if I recorded your private conversations with dad? It wouldn't feel good, would it? So then why do you do it to me? If having Robin over or having Robin as my partner is of any discomfort to you, you could've just said so." I notice Robin, My mom, And mike all looking at me like I'm some crazy person.

"Honey, I'm happy that you are happy with Robin. I just don't want you to get addicted to beer and whatnot, and risk it possibly progressing into something much, much worse. I care for you, and I wouldn't do this if I didn't. I'll delete it but I just need you to promise me you won't drink much." My mother walks over to me and hugs me, I fight at first but end up hugging her while crying into her shoulders. I then let go and walk over to Michael.

"Mike, I'm sorry. I truly am, I don't know what got into me. I promise I'll never hurt you ever again." He nods and hugs me, I hug him back, running my hands through his hair. We let go of each other and apologize to one another.

I sit down on Robin's lap as I slowly start to fall asleep thinking of how I could've handled the situation differently.

• This is somewhat angsty, I love it though. Please let me know your guy's thoughts on this. Is it good? Is it bad? Anywho, remember to eat and stay hydrated! I love you all, mwah <33. Much love, Cal <3
