"Are you almost done, dear?" A voice asked.
"Sure am. Why do you ask, Mrs. Cake?" Pinkie replied by asking.
"Cause, Cheese wanted to know." Mrs. Cake replied.
"Wait he's back from his long trip?" Pinkie asked the older mare curiously.
"Yes, he's upstairs." Mrs. Cake replied.
"Alright, I'm done Mrs. Cake." Pinkie said.
"Ok, you can go see him." Mrs. Cake said.
Pinkie trotted up the stairs, knocked as she asked, "Cheesie, are you awake?"
"I am indeed, Pinkie." Cheese replied.
"Ok." Pinkie said as she opened the door.
"I know that I just got back and everything but I'm actually kinda tired." Cheese said.
"Oh, um, ok." Pinkie said as she closed the door with her tail. She then thought for a bit. "Can we at least watch the sunset together?"
"Hmm, yes of course we can." Cheese replied.
"Really, yay!" Pinkie yelled.
"Shh, it's late." Cheese said.
"Oops, my bad." Pinkie said, as she trotted over to the balcony door.
"Aww, it's ok." Cheese said as he held open the balcony door. "Shall we?"
Pinkie giggled a little before she replied. "We shall." She trotted through the door and sat down on the balcony.
Cheese also trotted onto the balcony before he shut the door with his tail. "It's such a nice night, isn't it?" Cheese asked as he sat down beside her.
"Actually, it's a little chilly out." Pinkie replied with a shiver.
"Hmm, I've got an idea." Cheese said as he pulled his serape out of nowhere and wrapped it around her.
"Oh, thanks Cheese." Pinkie said as she nuzzled him.
"You're welcome." Cheese said as he nuzzled back. They just sat there and watched the sunset together. Afterwards Cheese looked down at her and whispered, "You fell asleep, looks like I wasn't the only pony who had a long day." Cheese then proceeded to pick her up and carry her inside. His tail closed the door behind them as he trotted over to her bed and laid her down on it, before laying down next to her.
