"Shimmer, where are you?" Twinkle said as she flew through Ponyville while bleeding.
"Hey, are you Twinkle?" Pinkie asked.
"Yeah, why?" Twinkle asked in confusion as she landed.
"Cause I know where Shimmer is." Pinkie replied.
"Ya do, where?" Twinkle asked.
"This way." Pinkie said as she pronked away, expecting to Twinkle to follow.
"Ugh, fine." Twinkle said as she took off in flight after her.
~Time Skip~
"Where are we?" Twinkle asked.
"This is Shimmer's castle." Pinkie said as she looked down at Twinkle's hooves. "Um, your right front hoof bleeding."
"That's what I want to ask my sister about." Twinkle replied.
"Well, either way, I'm bandaging your hoof." Pinkie said.
"Um, ok. Wait, who are you anyway?" Twinkle asked.
"I'm Pinkie Pie, the element of laughter and one of Shimmer's oldest and dearest friends." Pinkie replied as she finished pulling medical supplies from her mane.
"Ok." Twinkle said with a shrug.
As Pinkie was tending to Twinkle's hoof, "Hey Pinkie, who's that?" Minty asked as she trotted over.
"Yeah, and what are doing to her?" Sprinkle also asked as she trotted over.
"Oh, hey guys." Pinkie said. "This is Twinkle and she is Shimmer's twin sister. Also, she hurt her front right hoof. So, I'm bandaging it up for her.
"Pinkie, girls, I see that you've met Twinkle." Shimmer said as she came from around the corner.
"Sis, oh thank goodness. You're here." Twinkle said.
"What? Were you looking for me?" Shimmer asked in confusion.
"Yes, because I wanted to ask you about something." Twinkle replied.
"Ok. What is it?" Shimmer asked.
"Who is Suffer?" Twinkle asked in reply.
Shimmer let out a heavy sigh before she replied, "A mare who used to bully me, Pinkie and Minty, wanted to get back at us cause we won a talent show instead of her. The bully's name was Scarlet Spice, she hired a unicorn wizard named Salenmare to make a clone of me. He succeeded but not in the way that he nor Scarlet were expecting, the clone was different from me. That clone is Suffer aka Mean Shimmer."
"Wow. So, how did Salenmare succeed?" Twinkle asked.
"He built a magic powered machine. This machine can grow clones of anypony, so long as, you have a syringe of that pony's blood. However, like I said it only grows mean ones." I explained in reply, paused and asked, "Why do ask?"
"Because, I met Suffer." Twinkle replied.
"So, she went after you herself." Shimmer said.
"What do you mean?" Twinkle asked in confusion.
"Suffer told me that she was gonna go after you." Shimmer replied.
"So, that means?" Twinkle asked. She then thought for a bit. "You knew. You knew that there was not only a mean version of you on the loose but you also knew that it was after me."
"Sadly, yes." Shimmer replied.
"Why didn't you bother to tell me?" Twinkle asked.
"I'm sorry. Really I am. It's just that for starters, I just met you, I just found out that I have a twin and I really didn't want to lose you." Shimmer replied while deflating and tears were forming in her eyes.
"I accept your apology." Twinkle said while using her wings to hug Shimmer.
"Thanks." Shimmer said as she hugged her back.
"You're welcome." Twinkle said as she let go.
"Hey, why don't we all go inside my castle so, Twinkle can rest?" Shimmer asked as she reflated and opened the doors with her magic.
"Now, that's a good idea." Sprinkle said as she trotted inside.
"I agree." Minty said as she followed behind Sprinkle.
"Huh, I just realized something." Pinkie said.
"What is it?" Shimmer asked nervously.
"Twinkle and Sprinkle's names rhyme with one another." Pinkie replied with a smile as she pronked into the castle.
"Shimmer?" Twinkle asked.
"Yes." Shimmer replied.
"Your friends are kind of weird." Twinkle said.
"Yeah, I know." Shimmer agreed as she trotted inside. "However, so am I."
"I noticed. Hey, wait for me." Twinkle said as she flew inside and shut Shimmer's castle doors with her magic.
~Meanwhile~
"Oh, you poor good ponies. You have no idea what's coming." A voice said as it's owner flew away.
