"Suffer, I'm here." Shimmer said.
"Perfect." Suffer said as she appeared. "Now before this little 'house hunt' can begin, I need to make sure that won't try to use your magic on me." Suffer said as the upside down, pink heart shaped gemstone on her red necklace lit up.
"How are you gonna do that?" Shimmer asked curiously.
"By taking this, of course." Suffer replied as she used her magic to take Shimmer's golden necklace off of her.
"Hey, give it back." Shimmer cried.
"You can have it back when we're done." Suffer said.
"But, I need my magic." Shimmer said while crying and deflating.
"Relax, it's not like I'm gonna hurt you." Suffer said.
"Wait, you're not?" Shimmer asked in surprised confusion.
"Of course not." Suffer replied.
"But, why?" Shimmer asked as she reflated.
"You're helping me, that's why." Suffer replied.
"I don't get it, you're an evil version of me." Shimmer said in confusion.
"Correction, I'm the mean version of you." Suffer corrected.
"Yeah, but still." Shimmer said.
"Look, will you just help me?" Suffer asked.
"That is why I'm here." Shimmer replied.
Suffer and Shimmer trotted through the Everfree Forest for quite a while, until they stumbled upon a cave.
"This is perfect!" Suffer exclaimed.
"It is?" Shimmer asked in confusion.
"Yes, my fellow mean ones are gonna love it." Suffer replied.
"Well, your welcome." Shimmer said.
"Oh. Before you go, here." Suffer said as she put on Shimmer's golden necklace back on her. "I told you that I would give it back."
"I actually can't believe I'm saying this but thank you." Shimmer said.
"Don't mention it." Suffer said as she began to clean up the cave.
"Enjoy your new home." Shimmer said as she flew home.
