When they had arrived back to the main area, he was picked up by Gibson and left George with a frown. He had gotten more information regarding him, true information. If George was beaten on the daily, he would be violent too.
The group was still quiet, everyone was afraid to talk to one another after what happened. The day was pretty normal, going back as if nothing had happened with him.
He impatiently waited to see Dream again, but he knew it would be very unlikely until it was dark and everyone was fast asleep. Regardless, George waited.
He was restless. He didn't understand why he was acting all weird recently. His heart ached every time he thought of him. He hadn't felt that way since... him...
He shook the thought away. He was supposed to be here to get fixed... not... He shook his head.
George kept his mind busy with the work he was given. Eventually he would face him and he would realize he was just confused. He arrived at his cabin and stayed awake until he got back.
Dream stumbled into the cabin collapsing onto the floor. George rushed over to him. He seemed frightened, trying to crawl himself away from him.
He couldn't get far, finally giving up. "George, just please, leave me here, go away," he begged, avoiding his eyes.
"What happened? I'm trying to help." George tried to approach him, but he scurried away despite his weakness. "Stay back. I'm fine! I just need to get to bed."
"Let me help," George offered.
Dream struggled off the floor, shaking his head. "Just go to bed. It's late—I can take care of myself."
He didn't listen. He wanted to help him despite wanting to be independent. He was clearly hurt. He couldn't even walk straight or get off the floor for goodness' sake.
Eventually he managed to get off of the floor, stumbling over to his bed hiding under the covers like he was scared of him. "What happened? Did they do this? Did Gibson?" George asked but got no type of answer.
George approached trying to get off his sheet, but he was so much stronger. "Just... go away..." his voice turned weak, which concerned him.
"I can help, just let me."
"I want to sleep, not to be bothered. Go to sleep."
George eventually gave up and instead would check on him later. He had no strength to pull away his sheet. George pretended to be asleep until he was almost positive he was asleep.
He pushed off his sheet, tiptoeing over to his bed. He was now lightly gripping the sheet, still hiding away from him with only the tip of his hair showing.
He carefully tugged on his sheet and was instantly shocked. He was startled, instantly grabbing the sheet back and disappearing back under his sheet.
"Dream.. what did he do?!" George freaked out.
Dream peeked out from under the covers. "I told you to stay away." He was just barely awake and obviously wasn't thinking how serious the situation was.
"I couldn't. Gibson did this? How long has this been happening?" George asked, worried.
"It doesn't matter, you shouldn't even know about it..." he said, shaking his head.
"Do the other staff members know?" George said in a hushed tone, seeing as his harsh words were scaring Dream.
"Even if they did, they wouldn't care."
George couldn't believe that he would think the staff wouldn't care.
"I did it for you," he whispered.
His eyes widened. "What? What do you mean?" George asked.
"I did it so I could stay with you... in the cabin..." Dream spoke in a hush voice as if saying it any louder would startle George.
"You did it for me?" he asked, letting his eyes tear up.
Dream nodded. "It worked; I'm here with you..."
George shook his head, "That's not okay."
"I know, but it works." He let George see his pained smile. "Now you know. Can I please just sleep in peace? We can talk about this another time."
He nodded and went back to his bed.
"Goodnight, George." He smiled. George smiled in reaction, getting into his bed.

George and Dream walked to the main area. Dream tried his best not to fall, using the wall from time to time to support himself.
Sapnap was confused about Dream's state. However, Karl was more concerned. Karl tried to approach Dream, but Sapnap stopped him, scolding the boy for wanting to be near Dream after everything that happened.
George wanted nothing more than to help Dream, but he knew the staff would see and they could hurt Dream further.
Dream didn't sit down, nearly leaned against the wall for support. George was glad he didn't see Gibson because he wanted nothing more than to attack him after what he did to Dream, despite the punishment he would receive.
Dream almost collapsed from time to time, but he caught himself. He kept his eyes closed or on the ground, trying to hide the pain George knew he was in. Whatever medicine they gave clearly wasn't helping him. Instead, it just made him more tired and prone to collapsing. But Dream was strong and was able to keep himself up.
George tried not to look at Dream but it was hard not too, everyone was on about what was up with him since he was clearly the elephant in the room. He was known as being big and strong, but instead he was just barely staying up.
When it was time to head back to the cabin, Dream collapsed to his bed, groaning.
"Are you okay?" George asked, even though he knew the answer.
"I'll be, eventually." Dream chuckled as if it was funny.
Once settled George brought it up again. "I need to know what happened. How long has this been going on?"
