George could barely see Dream from across the room. He wanted nothing more than to run into his arms and hide. He knew he'd run over at even the slightest glance of Gibson.

Any view he had of Dream was now blocked by Sapnap crossing his arms. George sat up, winching with pain so he could get a glimpse of Dream and know he was still there.

When he couldn't see Dream, he got up, pushing Sapnap to the side. He stumbled, not expecting George to move.

"George!" Sapnap snapped.

With Dream back in sight, he let out a deep sigh. "Please Sapnap, just leave me alone..."

He glanced behind him for a moment to the couch. Dream was too far away from the couch to stay within his range.

George walked past Sapnap, going to a table a few ways away from Dream but within his range of view. He sat down, ignoring how much it hurt to sit in a hard chair right on his ass. Sapnap grunted, annoyed with George's constant movements.

Sapnap sat in front of him again blocking Dream from his view once more.

This time, George spoke up, catching the attention of Dream and everyone else. "Move! I can't see him!"

Sapnap got up, looking behind him. He got up too, grabbing Sapnap's arm and forcing him away.

"George, calm down," Sapnap tried, but he was panicking, shaking with the sudden attention and fear of Dream being out of reach. Gibson could get to him and Dream would be too far to help.

George's breath quickened, causing him to let out straggling breaths, sliding to the floor despite how much it hurt. He covered his eyes, scooting towards the wall and pulling his legs to his chest, cowering.

Dream pushed past the crowds of people, getting over to George. He knelt on the ground in front of George, pulling him into his arms. "Shh, I got you."

Dream rubbed his back until he heard the patter of boots against the ground, causing him to look up. Bad, followed by a few others stood a few feet away from the two with annoyed or irritated looks on their faces. Poor Bad just looked confused.

Dream clenched his jaw glaring them down. "I swear to God, get any closer and I'll kill every. Single. One of  you."

Dave stepped forward, unfazed. Dream held George tightly like his life depended on it.

"Clay, I warned you already, you cannot break any more rules!" Dave spat.

"And I said I would protect George!" Dream snapped. George held onto his arm, silently asking him not to start a fight with Dave.

"We are just trying to help you, heal you, and defeat this disease. And all you want to do it's spread it all over the place!" Dave retorted.

"What disease!?You and Gibson are the disease you—" Dream couldn't finish what he was saying when something was thrown across the room, shattering against the wall. All attention moved to where the noise came. Dream's eyes narrowed.

Gibson.

"Enough! All of you! Darryl, Jake, separate the two. I don't want to see any more touching from any of them. They follow the rules, or they get punishment! End of story!" Gibson yelled.

Dream was about to lunge for him when George's nails dug into his arm. Dream turned his attention to George, frowning.

Darryl stepped forward, taking the lead, "Please, Clay. Just listen to him," he said, his voice low so it couldn't be heard by Gibson who was keeping his distance knowing what Dream would do if he got a chance.

Dream looked to George who was frozen, his heart pounding in his chest and threatening to burst.

Dream frowned. "I'll let him go once Dave and Gibson leave. I won't let him go until they are gone"

Dave looked to Gibson with guidance, and he nodded his head, so Dave backed away.

"Dream, come with us. Darryl, take it from here," Gibson hissed through his teeth.

"Dream..." Darryl voice softened, "you have to let him go.."

Dream held back tears, closing his eyes tightly for a moment. He released his arms from around George who didn't move, still in shock. He pushed himself off the floor, wiping a tear away.

"Make sure he's okay, Bad. Don't let anything happen to him." Dream gave Bad a weak smile.

"I will." Bad crouched down in front of George, giving Dream a saddened glance before turning his full attention towards helping George.

Dream growled at Gibson before getting motioned to the doors. He followed the two despite everything in his body telling him to protect his George.

George didn't move 'till the three were long gone. He shuddered back to life ,glancing around the room in desperation. "Dream!" he cried running to the doors.

He slammed his knuckles into the door 'till they bled and Bad dragged him away.

"George, calm down, it's okay... It's okay," Bad soothed, ignoring the rules he was told to follow regarding getting close to the patients.

George cried his eyes out. "This is my fault! I should! I should have—"

"There was nothing you could do," he murmured, ignoring the weird looks he was given as he hugged George.

Sapnap made his way over to George with his hands in his pockets. He crouched down in front of the two. George looked up, and Bad released him.

"George... I need to know what happened," Sapnap said, his voice hushed.

George ignored him, lunging for the door. Sapnap chased after him, grabbing him by the arm for a moment before pulling away.

"George! He's gone. He's gone." Sapnap stood there, his eyes running.

"Dream..." George mumbled desperately.

Dream was just barely out of reach and now he was separated by a door. God knew what Gibson was doing to Dream while he desperately watched the door.

Sapnap watched George from afar, trying to cheer him up, but he had no courage to hold George after what happened when he got close to Karl. He hadn't seen Karl since he was punished and the two torn apart much like George is from Dream.

George just wanted Dream...
