The sun rose over the hills and forests surrounding the majestic city of Milagro de Amor. The entire city glowed golden under the sun's radiant rays. The animals woke up. The birds tweeted and flew. Children started running outside to have fun on a new day. In a great manor on a great mound overlooking the city, a loving family heard the morning tweets and opened their windows eager to see what the new day would bring. They saw the city coming alive with morning dancing and singing as the villagers were getting ready for what another glorious day would bring.
Mirabel Madrigal walked onto her balcony as she saw her beautiful home shrouded under the sun. She felt the scent of the jungle's fauna flow up her nostrils and into the core of her carefree spirit. She saw colourful parents squawking as they flew around her house. She held out her arm and they landed gracefully. She pulled out a packet of seeds and she fed the tropical birds.
A blue macaw squawked.
"Why good morning to you too," she said.
She sent the birds off and she twirled around. "What a great day we have ahead," she went back inside and sat in front of her floral mirror. She tied her curly hair into a bun with bangs around her face. She then waved her hands and three golden butterflies settled onto her hair like clips. She polished her glasses and then blushed her cheeks.
Standing up from her seat, she twirled around again. As she danced, the room's furniture danced with her and a golden skirt with butterflies and a white top with golden butterflies embroidered around the hem magically floated out of the wardrobe. She dressed in no time and then the floorboards made her white slippers with golden flowers dance around and slip under her feet. For the final touch, she tied a pearl necklace around her neck with matching earrings and bracelets.
Mirabel danced out of her room and slid down the moving floorboards to the ground floor. She went outside into the blooming gardens to catch the scent of the morning roses that loved to bloom. She gave them a long sniff and the beautiful aroma flowed through her body; yellow roses were her favourite. She plucked one from a bush and she twirled around, dancing.
Juano Sanchez observed the sweet-natured woman dancing around amongst the flowers from his window. He smiled affectionately. He waved his hands.
Mirabel relished the rosy gardens. She endeavoured this as her favourite morning. To her, the blooming of roses meant the beginning of something so beautiful. She had collected a bouquet of multiple colours to put in a vase when she saw balls of colour lights floating around her. She smiled. She knew who had done that. She looked up to the house but saw an empty window. She smirked. Juano. He had disappeared. He was probably gonna sneak up on her and surprise her.
The floating colourful light balls turned into light auras that formed flowers all around her. It was so beautiful. Her boyfriend always knew how to make her feel so happy.
I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and youMirabel turned around to see her boyfriend Juano singing out angelically to her with all his heart. He wore blue Columbian clothing with golden embroidery controversy of her sewing creativity.
And I think to myself
What a wonderful worldMirabel smiled and she sought to join in the singing. She settled down her bouquet of roses and walked gracefully towards him. They held hands and they began a beautiful dance like a romantic couple in a ballroom.
I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful worldMirabel's melodic voice made the birds and butterflies and bugs flutter around. They settled on the leaves and the petals of flowers to listening to her angelic voice.
The colours of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
