A/N: I listened to this song all on break and just thought it would fit perfectly with this part. So- Enjoy?

(3rd person POV): With the upcoming concert and being able to balance hiding the new song from Basil along with handling school work things were going good for the band as a whole, when Aubrey found out it was a song for Basil she was fully ready to help out in any way possible and it made Sunny ecstatic and determined to make the song perfect so the emotions and feelings put into it could be put across correctly to not send the wrong message.

(Basil's POV): Now I'm banned from the studio until the next concert "great"... I wonder what's so important about this one that makes it different from any other. I exhaled loudly as I stood in the middle of the flowers that I had re-planted not too long ago after bringing them back outside after the spring had started. I brought my knees to my chest as I watched all the different blooms sway in the wind with a soft smile on my face I slowly rested into my thoughts but was quickly pulled back from them when screaming and arguing came up the road towards the fence that separated my garden from the street. The fence creaked as someone leaned over it and when I looked directly at them I saw it was Kel while Aubrey walked in the gate with Sunny, Hero, and Mari behind her. Kel flopped onto the ground without getting hurt luckily and he ran over to me making sure to not trample the flowers which I was grateful for honestly because if he stepped on them I would kick him out so fast his nose would bleed. Sunny pocked his head around from behind Aubrey and waved at me and smiled and I felt my cheeks burn slightly as I waved back and smiled back. Nobody said anything besides Aubrey and Kel's hushed voices about something inaudible. "Hey, Basil what kind of flower are you?" I snapped out of the thoughts cursing at myself for getting lost in them again before realizing it was Sunny who had asked. "Well, my grandma once said I was like a sunflower because I always looked at the bright side of things like how sunflowers always face towards the sun?" Sunny leaned closer to me and looked down at the flowers that were in a pot and said, "What kind of flower do you think I am?" I opened my mouth to answer but I had to think about that because flowers had many different meanings but the one that came to my mind was white tulips. "White tulips. And the meaning of them is that they aren't very flashy plants. They're not too big or small, not too elaborate or flamboyant. If I could put it in another way... I guess I would say that... They're comfortable, simple, modest, and perfect. Kind of like you Sunny." the last bit left my tongue before I could catch myself Sunny toppled over and started laughing and I was confused, "What's so funny?" I was utterly confused and it didn't seem to stop Sunny from laughing his head off but soon he composed himself and said, "You can be so tender with your words yet so sappy at the same time." A small spray of light pink danced on his cheeks but I guessed it was from laughing so hard under the hot sun. I stood up and extended my hand toward him which he took hesitantly as I pulled him up and called the others inside to get something to drink Kel sped past me and also ran through the door and he would have if Polly hadn't opened it and moved out of the way causing Kel to slip and fall onto the floor below. Polly looked at me with a confused expression and I shrugged before leading them all inside Kel still laying on the floor almost dead looking up until Aubrey kicked him in the side and he shot up like a lightbulb having a power surge and bursting, "AUBREY WHAT THE HELL?!" Sunny and I stifled our laughter as the two of them fought over how Kel was such an idiot and that he should be more careful and I smiled as Sunny's hand fell from his mouth and he started laughing leaning into me to support his weight as it looked like he might fall over any minute if not held up. Soon enough everyone calmed down and everyone was getting something to eat or drink and I was forced to drink something called "Orange joe," Kel said it was delicious and at first I didn't believe him whatsoever but when I tried it all I tasted was orange juice with coffee and it wasn't terrible but it wasn't good that's for sure. "The help they gave to my garden was like something like in a dream. Only this dream was a reality and having people to talk to and hang out with was like having parents take care of a child except they gave me the kindness my parents never dared to even show me." I set my pen down next to the journal that I used to write my thoughts down in when I wanted to express myself without having to use words and I realized how much it helped me today. And every time I wrote in it I silently thanked Aubrey for giving it to me. I closed the hard-cover journal and slumped into the sheets on my bed them creasing slightly as I leaned downward. The thoughts that never left my mind were about how the next concert was coming and that's when Sunny promised to let me listen to the new song and it got me excited because I wondered what made it so important that he couldn't show me it. I felt my chest flutter as I crushed my arm covering my eyes and pushing back my bangs slightly I wrapped my arms around my pillow and pressed my face into it groaning loudly feeling my cheeks burn as I buried my head deeper into the pillow.

(Sunny POV): The day of the concert approached and once I was finally sitting in the dressing room Mari brushed my hair after Kel finished doing the eyeliner on his and my eyes I felt my chest tighten knowing Basil had dropped off the flowers that sat in front of me when I brought myself back down to earth and looking into the mirror in front of me I realized one of the white tulips that had been in the vase was now in my hair and I looked at Mari flustered, "Come on little brother it looks nice besides, this might help him figure it out just a little." My older sister had always been there for me when I needed it so I trusted her with a lot of things and this included helping him win Basil's heart which he wouldn't have been able to do by himself whatsoever. I took deep breaths as we stood on the stage the curtains parting and the lights turning up making the rest of the room go dark even though the only light part of the room was the stage teal blue eyes pierced through the crowd and Sunny knew... Basil was watching him.

(3rd person POV): The concert began and Basil had to cover his ears for a moment from the loud screaming and people noticing Sunny's dyed hair and fan girls squealing Basil would never say it but he was jealous and for some reason, his voice rang louder than he thought as he yelled, "DO YOUR BEST SUNSHINE!" as soon as he said it the room went quiet looking at the boy who had said it even Sunny was looking at him and he began to think he fucked up but when Sunny smiled and waved shyly at him it had Basil not regret a thing. The concert began as it normally did Basil had heard these songs millions of times and he never got tired of it because each song was filled with emotion and after a few moments he realized it was the others singing with Sunny singing the chorus which had small bits but when the last song came he heard it the song he wasn't able to hear.

I have a question

It might seem strange

How are your lungs?

Are they in pain?

How are your lungs?'

Cause mine are aching

Think I know why I kinda like it though

You wanna try?

Oh, would you be so kind As to fall in love with me?

You see, I'm trying

I know you know that I like you

But that's not enough

So if you will

Please fall in love

I think it's only fair

There's gotta be some butterflies somewhere (wanna share?)

'Cause I like you but that's not enough

So if you will Please fall in love with me

Basil stood there leaning against the railing feeling his cheeks flush a deeper red than he thought they ever would as the song continued he heard how the rhythm changed to a lighter more airy tone than the rest of the songs they had played before and as the song came to a close Basil thought he would die but then Sunny spoke his voice tired from spilling his emotions to the world in a song, "So... Basil how about you try to love someone like me?" Sunny couldn't look at him but he could tell that everything he said was true Basil looked over the railing seeing an empty spot climbed over the railing and landed on the spot the thump on the ground echoing throughout the room. Basil made his way through the crowd and walked around to the side of the steps as he could now see Sunny's hand that was holding onto the microphone shaking as he cupped it in both of his making Sunny now look at him he smiled and looked embarrassed and muttered an apology but couldn't all of it out when Basil placed his lips onto Sunny's and as he pulled away the crowd erupted into a chaos of screaming and yelling but it wasn't bad it was the kind of yelling people want to hear. The smile that spread across everyone on the stage and Mari of the stage was something neither the sunflower nor the tulip would ever forget. "So boyfriends?" Basil had whispered into Sunny's ear as he buried his head into Sunny's shoulder embarrassed, "Yeah boyfriends." The lovely sense of compassion the two would face while dealing with school and their personal lives and issues lay before them and they couldn't be happier to be in this world at this moment in their lives.

(SUNFLOWER HAS SAILED AND I NOW GET TO WRITE THE FLUFF AND LATER SMUT I HAVE BEEN DYING TO DO. not that other components of the story will be forgotten so don't worry!)

A/N: Finally finished it *passes out causally*
