Omori Band AU (The singer and the florist)

🌻🌷A flower-filled day🌷🌻

(Basil's POV): Something that I loved more than anything was having someone's arms wrapped around me as I slept and Sunny delivered it without even having to ask so here we were sleeping supposedly on my bed with Sunny's head buried into my chest as I laid my arms around his back smiling not being able to fall asleep, (Curse insomnia!) I exhaled a breath I didn't know to be holding as he cuddled closer seemingly attempting for more warmth which I was happily going to give him. Sunny had surprised me on the day of the concert when he told me he loved me and the expression he had on his face afterward was priceless, after leaving the stage his legs collapsed underneath him and he was edder than some of the tomatoes I grew during the summer but looking over at the mirror I wasn't much better maybe slightly redder but at that point, I hadn't cared. I looked over Sunny's fluffy black and blue hair to see that the time was 5 in the morning and I knew eventually I would have to water all the flowers around the house before starting the day but I couldn't leave just yet so I buried my face into Sunny's hair and felt my eyelids become heavy. I was startled awake by my alarm blaring in my ear and when I rolled over to turn it off I realized Sunny was missing I wondered where he went until I heard a curse come from the kitchen and I got up to check it out and when I got to the doorway of the kitchen after climbing down the stairs I saw Sunny with blood dripping from his finger and both of his eyes were brimmed with tears slightly. "Sunny?"

(Sunny POV): When I woke up after getting an amazing sleep that I hadn't had for a long time only to see Basil still sleeping so I slipped out from his arms and looked at his face a small line of drool coming from his mouth and he snored lightly looking calm and it made me blush. (Why am I so lucky to have you? Sometimes I don't deserve you and we both know it but you're always here and you seem to not be leaving just yet...) I rubbed my eyes before leaving Basil's room using the bathroom and then heading downstairs into the empty kitchen for some reason, I got the smart idea to make some breakfast for Basil even though I sucked at cooking according to everyone but today I had confidence. "For once..." I chuckled to myself as I got out some eggs, bread, and butter. I looked around Basil's kitchen for a pan and a cutting board and surprisingly it was simple to find and put butter on the toast and I placed it into the toaster before placing the pan on the stove and heating it. I went back over to the fridge and found a bowl of strawberries so I took them out and placed them near the cutting board before putting the eggs into the pan. I began cutting the strawberries until the knife slipped and cut slightly into my finger and I let out a small string of curses and looked at the blood coming out of my finger and I felt my eyes stinging with tears sightly as I heard a tired voice say, "Sunny?" I looked up from my hand to see Basil rubbing his eyes and looking at my finger questioningly. Before I could say anything he had grabbed my hand and placed it under cold water making me jump as I washed the water from under my fringer run red for a few moments before becoming clear again and then the water turned off as I watched Basil rub his temples and I looked back over at the eggs to see that they hadn't burnt yet but they might soon and Basil followed my gaze and saw that I had made eggs and he looked over at me and sighed. "Okay I'm going to get you a bandaid and if you want you can turn off the stove." I nodded as he left the room and headed out of sight and I turned off the stove and moved the two eggs onto a plate song with a piece of toast and some strawberries and I smiled at my work as I placed it on the table eating the other piece of toast as Basil came back with a bandaid and he sat next to me and placed the bandaid on my finger as I moved the food in front of him and that's when he noticed it and looked at me his face flushed as he held loosely on my hand and I smiled at him. He had a slightly worried gaze on his face as he let go of my hand and let it fall onto the table before thanking me as he began eating the food. "You didn't have to do this for me... But I appreciate it. So thank you..." the smile on my face never dissipated from my face and when I opened my eyes again a piece of the egg was in front of my face and I happily took it from him without a moment's hesitation.

(Basil's POV): As I watched Sunny chew with a happy look on his face I felt that I might die just from the sweetness as he smiled adorably at me with kindness and I felt my heart throb. Sunny scooted closer to me and leaned his head on my shoulder and said, "Do you want to do anything in particular today?" I leaned my head on top of his before saying, "I don't have anything I want to do because just spending time with you is all I need to be happy. So you can pick something!" Sunny looked at me for a moment before back at his hands and mumbling, "Would you want to just hang out in a secret spot that we all found when we were younger?" I leaned onto the table and looked at him adoringly as he thought and the pout he got was honestly adorable. As I looked back down at the empty plate I picked it up and left towards the sink to wash it and while doing so arms wrapped around my waist and a head nuzzled into my back, looking over my shoulder and I dried off the plate getting ready to put it away Sunny said, "Can we just in your house today? And just I don't know cuddle or some shit?" I tried to stop myself from laughing but ended up snorting instead which made Sunny look embarrassed but then I got a great idea. I placed the dish down and turned around scoping up Sunny in my arms and carrying him to the couch where I plopped him down and smiled at him as I lay on top of him snuggling into his chest and handing him the remote to pick out something for us to watch on tv. The show he picked was a really old one that was getting re-runs that Aubrey made me watch when we were younger along with sweetheart, Captain space boy, it was honestly funny and got some laughs out of the both of us as we cuddled and had a calm day that was mostly enjoyed with only us and sadly before I could show Sunny my garden outside it began to rain which left him to stay over a day longer.
