Part Two: It All Makes Sense Now

"LYDIA, Hey!" It was always nice to see Nick. He was always full of energy and excitement around me, and I never knew why, so I just went with it. "What's up guys?" "Lets just get the meeting started, I don't want to waste time like we did this morning." Kaya was always on edge, no matter what. I never knew why, I just always assumed that it was me. It told them the story about why I ran off after last night's fight and they immediately knew this was serious. "If this boy really wants you to know more, then you should meet him tonight." "I can't, I have work until 7:30 and I won't get it the school until 7:45." "Tell him that so he isn't worried as the why you aren't there at the start of the game. He'll probably understand." Sidney said optimistically. Thats when I saw Harry walking out of the lunch line. "Thats your chance, kiddo. Tell him what's going on and when you can meet him." "Okay, here I go."

I didn't know why I was taking this so seriously. I just had to tell him I was going to be running a litte late tonight, thats all. I walked up with shakiness in my breath. "Hey Harry, so you know how we were supposed to meet at the game tonight?" "Yea...why? Can you not make it?" "No I can, but I'll be there later. around 7:45-ish. I work at Point's Burger and I skate everywhere. So it'll take me a bit to get back here. Ans I work right after school so yea." "Oh...well that's alright, I don't mind." "Alright, so 7:45, under the bleachers?" "Sure, see you then." "Alright, see ya!"
"Bye Lydia." Holy shit my palms are so sweaty. Good thing I just held my own in a conversation. I don't usually do that. I'm proud and I'm sure Vienna is too. She's the loud one when it comes to me and her. I usually never talk.

"Hey you did it, that wasn't bad for your first solo conversation." Vienna always bugged me about how I needed to be more social. Uncle Cole said that was how my dad was and how he still is today. and he was right. I really was my dad's daughter. "I guess I did alright." The bell rang and we all want to our last class, which was gym. I got my gym clothes and ran to the locker room. I got on my uniform, put my hair in a pony tail and ran out into the gym. I met up with Vienna and Kaya. We were the "gym class hero's" and we were ultra try hards. It was in our nature since we were always doing something stupid where we were being active. Today's sport was lacrosse. This was going to be hella easy. We got our teams and I was assigned to attack, Vienna to attack, and since Kaya has never touched a stick, we put her on defense with other students who like to slack off in gym. Me and the other students were on either attack or midfield. Vienna takes the draw and gets it first try. Was in her nature. She did play lacrosse and was an absolute wiz at it. Better than I could ever be. But she never takes shots no matter how many chances she gets. She always passes to someone, and that someone is usually me. I'm the main shooter on our team.

As soon as she gets the ball, she runs up and passes the ball to me. I run up the the goal and took the shot. I made it. This was on repeat for the entire class until the gym teacher blows into her whistle, signaling that class was over and so was school. I ran into the locker room to shower quick and  change into my work uniform. I reapplied my makeup and braided my wet hair. I put on my hat and converse and ran into the hallways. A bunch of the students were gone by know, including my friends. They all had their own things going on but every Friday they stop by and get something to eat before we all go to the game. I wen to my locker, got my backpack packed and hopped on my skateboard and went to work. I got there and greeted the manager. "Hey Skipper, its Lydia." "Hey girly, get started in your homework, I'll take care of the other customers. Let me know if you need help with anything." Funny thing Is I got all of my homework done. So I sat and drew in my sketchbook for twenty minutes until the gang arrived.

We usually just chat while I run around, make food and give it to the customers. We just talk about the weekend ahead if us and what we're going to do. Usually we go to the beach or the movies. On occasion we all take a weekend trip to everyone's main place. And when I say main place, I mean giant private property for each ninja. Jay and Nya have a private beach house in the storm belt. Besides the constant storms, it's beautiful. Cole has Shintaro. Zane has the mountains. We all go for Christmas and New Years. Kai has A temple near Ninjago City. And my dad Has a house overlooking a beautiful waterfall in the the jungle. This weekend we weren't going anywhere at all. We were staying in the city. We couldn't risk anything right now. Not with Harry. "Man this burger is good, I gotta say Lydia, you got skills." "Thanks Vie, I try." "So whats the plan for this whole Harry and Lydia thing?" Zoe mostly comes up with the plans. Her plan was to call her from my phone and she has her AirPods in and can gear the whole conversation between me and Harry. She would be on mute the whole time so Harry couldn't hear her. It was smart and hopefully worked. Me and Zoe charged our phones at the diner until they reached 100% which took only about twenty minutes. As soon as everyone was ready, I clocked out of my shift and rode to the football game. Tonight was a big deal. Our team made it to the playoffs so the stands would be packed. Zoe took everyone else in her car. She and the others would stay in her car to listen to what was going on and I would have my location turned on.

I get there, pay for my ticket and immediately go to the bleachers. Harry is standing under them. "It's too loud for you to be able to hear me here, follow me." We waked to the tennis courts when he stopped in his tracks. "Lydia, I understand that you must be confused, so I'll explain everything. I am with a secret society of three, the Oni Three. We use the Oni masks and deal with gangs, and sometimes even the mafia of Ninjago." I couldn't believe what I was hearing, the masks are still around, I thought they were destroyed. "The masks were re-forged and given their traditional Oni powers. I use the mask of Hatred, Cleo uses the mask of Deception, and JJ uses the mask of Vengeance." I stopped him. "Wait, you gave the masks their powers?" He was silent, dead silent. "Harry, who fixed the masks?" He was silent again. "HARRY I NEED TO KNOW! WHO FIXED THE MASKS!" "You really shouldn't raise your voice sweetheart," an unknown voice said. "We wouldn't want to disturb the game." I turned and saw a boy with dark, fluffy hair. He was taller than me by a few inches and had a similar mask that Harry had on but it has red accents. Harry's had purple. "Come on, girly," another one said. "Us girls have to stick together." I turned to the other voice. A girl with dark skin and black hair in braids stood in the other corner with the same mask as the boys, but with orange accents.

"Lydia, we don't want to hurt you or get on the ninja's bad side, so I'm going to say this as easily as I can. Your father has a strong relationship with our leader. You might have an idea as of who, but I'll let you see for yourself. Mom, please introduce yourself, as well as me" "With pleasure." That voice, it sent chills down my spine. I turned around to see a woman with white, silky hair with red paint over her eyes. She had swords on her back and chains on her outfit which was mostly black with navy blue accents. "Hello Lydia, it's so good to see you again after all these years. This is your brother, Harry." I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I pulled out my phone and yelled inti the speaker. "GUYS! GET THE CAR READY OR GET OUT HERE AND HELP ME! I'M OUT BY THE TENNIS COUR-" "I wouldn't do that sweetheart." My phone fell out of my hand as the other boy, who was probably JJ, stood in front of me while I was running. I slid under his legs and pushed him over as he fell onto the hard concrete. I ran back and got my phone. I saw Zoe's car racing up the roads toward me. "COME BACK GIRLY. THE BOSS WANTS YOU ALIVE! I REALLY DON'T WANT TO CUT YOU." Zoe swerved around and opened the passenger seat door. "GET IN!" I dove into that car, slammed the door shut and we were off.

After I caught my breath i could feel warmth running down my face. No, not now, why now. Of all the times to cry, right now in-front of the team. They've never seen me cry before, but it didn't matter. I cried and they all sat silently. Once I was finished, Zoe asked me who that older woman was. "Do you guys remember the story about the Jade Princess and how she almost killed our parents, and how she is supposed to be dead?" "Yea, what happened?" "That woman...Is Princess Harumi. And Harumi...is my mother."

Wsg, I just finished this and I'm leaving it here. I hope everyone is liking it so far. J just finished part one of Crystalized and this could not have worked out better. I can't wait for the rest of it to come out. Byeeeeee!
