Sirius

I pulled my phone anyway from the side of my face and stared at nothing.

What must've only been a few minutes later, James came into my room. "Hey, pads, how are you feeling?"

"Mm, james." I hugged him. "Not great."

"Yeah? Are you going to call him? I know it's stressful, but maybe it's be easier if I was here?"

"Mm, no, James I did it."

"Did what?"

I pulled away. "I called him."

"Oh," James said softly. "Oh! Wow, um.. what did he say?"

"He tried to convince me that it was a bad idea to get him out, like he did a year ago. He agreed to meet with me." I got up. "Let's go."

"What? Now?" James got up too. "Wait when are we meeting him?"

"Half an hour. I'll talk more in the car."

James got Remus and we piled into the car. I explained the phone call while James drove. They talked to me about it and I felt a little more in control by the time the eye was in view.

Even at one o'clock on a Tuesday, London was a busy place, and one of the biggest attractions was even more busy.

By the time we found a space in the car park, I had grown anxious. How would I find him? Did he mean that I come alone by 'only us'?

The three of us walked toward the eye. I looked up at the attraction. I sighed and then looked around.

To my surprise, I spotted regulus. He was walking towards me, having found us first.

Regulus always dressed well. Now he dressed in what he probably thought were inconspicuous clothing. He wore plain black pants and a plain black shirt with a dark grey zip-up sweater over it. Which would be fine, except it was the summer. Still, I doubt the looks he got as he walked were from his outfit. I had gotten similar looks. Our family were non-professional models to be honest. My brother was almost as pretty as I was.

"Sirius." He said when he got close enough.

"Hey, reg." I said softly. "Is it okay I brought my friends, I know you said only us?"

He nodded. "Yes, I was referring to the plans. Come."

We followed him to a slightly quieter spot. We all sat down on some grass.

"How are you, Sirius? How has being away been?"

I could tell there was something he had to say that wasn't just small talk but I decided to play along for a little. "It's been good. I feel like I'm finally healing a tad. My friends have been a great support. But I've really missed you."

"Mm." He looked away. "I'm glad you're doing better. Our parents are shit."

I laughed. He could be a bit blunt. "Yeah.. they are."

"How have you been, regulus?" Remus asked

Reg gave him a bit of a tight lipped smile. "Okay. The house is quieter. Barty is thinking of moving to France. Rosier left his family. He's going to university for biochemistry."

"Yeah? Are you still the star player of your footy team?"

"I graduated high school, james. But I was, yes."

James laughed sheepishly. "Oh yeah right."

"Okay i'm glad we get to talk, Reggie, but let's cut the bullshit. You have something to say."
