Sirius
Regulus continued to be slightly uncomfortable. He stopped trying to convince people that he would be leaving soon. He went back and forth between trying to be the best guest possible and isolating himself.
He hadn't started calling Effie and Monty, Effie and Monty, but he did tell them he wanted to take his parents to court. He started having a few conversations past small talk.
I hoped that maybe he started thinking it wouldn't be so bad. That his view of his future wasn't either death or abuse.
For now, I just hoped he would start to relax a bit.
And of course, while I write in my journal that the potters gave me, Reggie had to walk into my room to annoy me. I was the only one he was completely comfortable annoying and therefore he annoyed me a lot. I was happy he was here though. I had missed him so much.

Mission: Get Regulus Comfortable day 1
Regulus had been here two weeks and has yet had spent a bunch of his time in his room by himself or doing any chores that my parents are willing to let him do.
"Heyyyy, pretty boy," I greeted dramatically walking into the living room.
Regulus paused his sweeping long ending to sigh. "Potter."
"You do know you are going to have to stop calling me that soon, right? Especially since you refuse to call my parents by their first names either? Calling three people by the same name isn't going to work."
"I'm not calling you by your first name, it would give you far too much satisfaction."
"You could call me a nickname."
Regulus did like annoying me but sometimes I pushed the boundaries of what he's willing to do. "No."
"Why not!" I whined.
"Because you'd like that."
"Come on, you can make it insulting! I wouldn't like that!"
"I'm sure you'd find a way to make it not fun."
"You are given the chance to call me anything in the world and you choose my name?"
"You're a bloody prat."
I sighed dramatically. "If you don't get creative, I will."

Mission day 2
Of course I wasn't going to give up on my mission. We just need to do something together.
So, when Regulus asked my mum how he can help, like he does every day, she gave my pre-pre-armed answer that he should ,ao3 lunch.
Of course, regulus didn't know how to cook. That's where I jumped in and insisted I helped.
"You don't have to, you know." Regulus was a bit annoyed with me, but when is he not?
"Oh, I know. But you can't cook." I smiled. "And you wanted to help."
"I don't want to hang out with you though."
I pretended to be touched. "Oh, Regulus, I didn't know you felt that way! I really thought you only thought of me in vague indifference! I'm so honoured!"
He sighed. "Another long day."
I patted his arm. "You'll survive."
He stared at me. "You are lucky I'm not mean enough to make suicide jokes."
