Gabrielle's pov

"Gabrielle! Your mom is here for the visit!" Ms. Clementine yells from downstairs. "Okay!" I yell back. I walk as slow as I can downstairs because I really don't want to hang out with my mom.

So here's what happened. After they took me away from Lizzie, I got put into this stupid home with other kids my age. And I hate it.

They said that they are waiting for something related with my mom. Basically they say that if she changes then she can have me back. I don't want that but I know they will send me back with her.

"Gabi!" Mom shouts as I reach the final step. She runs to me and hugs me. I stand still and don't talk. "Let's go have fun. Someone is going to come with us" I just nod my head and follow her out the door.

"Hi! My names Ashley and I will be hanging out with you two today. Does that sound fun?" The blond lady ask me. "I guess" why is she talking to me like I'm five?

"Let's go" we all get into moms car that is surprisingly clean. The last time I was in it...it looked like a zoo.

"So I was planing on getting some ice cream and then we can go hang out at the park. Does that sound good?" Mom ask as I put my seatbelt on.

I simply nod and she drives off with Ashley sitting in the front with her. "So Gabrielle, what do you like to do in your free time?" Ashley ask.

"Read. Draw. Cuddle. Bake and hang out with Lizzie" I mumble the last part so that they couldn't hear. "That sounds fun! Did you do some things like that with your mom?" I shake my head.

"She doesn't like doing those things" I explain. I notice that mom is giving me this look basically saying that I need to shut up.

"Well, we won't be doing any of that" Ashely tells me. I nod and stare out the window.

Elizabeth's pov

"No! She can't go back with her" I yell on the phone. "Ms. Olsen, please. Gabrielle will have to go with her if her mother is capable to take her in again. You will be able to adopt her only if something happens" I sigh.

"I hope something happens to her mom" I mumble. "What was that?" "nothing!" I feel someone place a hand on my shoulder. I look over and see Scarlett smiling at me, but there's a hint of sadness in her eyes.

"I have to go now. Take care and we'll keep in touch" I hang up the phone and place it down on the counter. "I won't be able to adopt her. I just know it" I lay my head on Scarlett's shoulder.

"Don't say that. Look" she turns me around so that I'm facing her. "I will make you a deal" she starts off. "Oh no, your deals are the best Scar" she laughs. It's true.

"Let me hear it" she takes a deep breath before speaking. "If Gabi's mom takes her back in, which we hope she won't, then I will finally go on that date you always wanted" I freeze.

"W-what?" she smirks. "Liz, I'm not that dumb. Everyone sees it and I do to" I blush. She's right. I've always wanted to go on a date with her and she definitely knew that.

"And if I adopt Gabi, then what would you do for me" she wraps her arms around me and leans her lips closer to my ear. "Then I would still go on that date. I know it's a bad deal but we both really want this date" that's true.

"Okay" I mumble into her neck. "Now, let's go have fun!" she pulls away from me and drags me outside. "Wait! I'm still in my pajamas" she stops and I run into her. "Sorry, let's go get you changed" I giggle and we both run back inside and in my room.

"Okay, what should I wear?" I look through my closet for ideas. "Here" I look over and see her holding up some mint green sweat shorts with a white top.

"Thanks" I strip out of my clothes forgetting that Scarlett is still here. "Holy shit" I hear her whisper. I smirk and look up to see her literally drooling.

"Like what you see?" she doesn't say anything so I just continue. I quickly change and we head out to do whatever Scarlett had in mind.

Gabrielle's pov

"Thank you for joining us today Ashley" my mom smiles at her. It's her fake smile. "Thank you for having me. Now, tomorrow we will meet at the office at 10 am so that we can sign stuff then you guys would be all set" I zone out.

"Sounds great. Bye Gabrielle" mom hugs me then I get to leave with Ashley so that she can take me back to this stupid house.

"I don't want yo go with her" I mumble as I hop in the car. "I know you don't but it's the rules" I sigh as I put my seatbelt on and she drives off.

I don't know where this car came from but I'm in it. "Make sure your things are packed for tomorrow. It's going to be a good day tomorrow" "sure it will" I mumble.
