           ANYA'S brows raised shocked as she watched Evangeline follow a few warriors towards the throne room, "Eve?" she asked with a frown as she grabbed the girls arm gently and pulled her away from the small crowd.

"oh, Anya," Evangeline breathed with a small smile, "hi," she greeted as she looked at her friend.

"what are you doing here?" Anya asked as she looked around frantic, like if they were to be caught talking something might happen.

Evangeline frowned as she looked at Anya, "i was invited. this is where we're meeting for the meeting right? Lexa invited me and forgot to tell me where she was hosting it,"

It was Anya's turn to frown, "Lexa invited you?" she asked like Evangeline was crazy, "Evangeline, what the hell. you shouldn't be here you should be training with the others,"

"Anya, i'm fine," Evangeline assured with a light frown, "i'm not a kid, i can take care of myself," she stated softly as she brushed past her friend and into the throne room.

"welcome everyone," Lexa greeted as she sat on her throne with her head held high, "thank you for coming," she proceeded to say softly.

"as osir hogeda know, a kru gon kru osir nou know don trespassed ona our land," Evangeline frowned confused, this being news to her. (as we all know, a group of people we do not know have trespassed on our land)

"their missels don burned down won gon the villages. emo've killed many gon our kru as the stegeda burnt kom the graun," the girl lowered her head as Lexa spoke. (their missels have burned down one of the villages. they've killed many of our people as the village burnt to the ground)

"i know a lot of yous are angered and would want to fight but we do not know who these people are and what type of weapons they claim," Lexa stated in English.

Lexa breathed calmly as she suddenly locked eyes with Evangeline, "but we are not going to sit here and do nothing,"

Indra nodded with her jaw clenched as her hand sat on her sword, "that is why, i have asked for you warriors to come here," Evangeline bit her lower lip as she listened.

"who here.. is willing to risk their lives and watch over these... people?" Lexa asked, her face scrunching up once she realised she didn't know what to call these intruders.

The room fell silent, no words or movements what so ever as Lexa looked over everyone.

"no one?" Lexa asked as no one spoke up. Evangeline turned her head to her left to see Lincoln stood next to Indra. he looked nervous but was ready to hold his arm up.

Evangeline quickly raised her wounded hand, "i will do it,"

Indra quickly grabbed Lincoln's arm and pushed it down roughly, sending him a concerned look as she shook her head. not wanting her friend to risk his life.

"whoever it is, please step forward," Lexa called out. Evangeline's heart pounded in her chest as everyone in her way moved.

Anya frowned once she caught sight of the back of Evangeline's head, "Evangeline," Lexa muttered, shocked.

The auburn nodded as she lowered her head and got onto one of her knee's before placing her wounded, but shaking hand on her kneecap. "commander," she greeted.

"Evangeline!" Lincoln called out as he quickly left Indra's side and jogged to his friends side, "Lincoln, no," Evangeline said as she stood and held her hand up to his chest.

"i've made my choice," she told him as she gave a stern nod, "please commander," Evangeline begged as she turned to look back at Lexa, "let me be the one to do this,"

Nyko gulped as he stared at Evangeline.

"your brave," Lexa said, forcing herself to say something because it was quiet for such a long time.

Evangeline raised her head as she dropped her arm back to her side, "we need more brave warriors," everyone looked away as Lexa looked over them in disappointment.

Lexa clenched her mouth shut before she sighed, "from here and now on, Evangeline kom trikru is the spy for all of us," she called out causing Anya and Lincoln's shoulders to drop.

Lincoln grabbed Evangeline's arm as everyone started to speak amongst one another, "you do not know what you have just put yourself in," the girl gave him a soft smile as she looked up at him.

"i know that I'm a warrior, Lincoln," she said as she slowly dropped her smile, "if i was to die i know i won't die a coward," she stated lowly, "i'll die protecting my people,"
