Chapter 2

Chat Blanc/Adrien POV:

After the chat with Ladybug, I snuck to a dark and secluded area where there wasn't many people and called my transformation off.

"Claws in,"

When I detransformed, my kwami zoomed out from my ring. Plagg had a huge grin on his face.

I groaned and reached into my pocket to take a small piece of camembert to give Plagg.

"Kid, you're not growing soft on that hero, are you?" Plagg asks me while taking the cheese from my palm.

I scoff at his remark and say, "Of course not. Are you crazy?"

Plagg just shrugs and continues to eat his cheese.

"Eat up that smelly cheese of yours and be quick. I have a stupid photoshoot at 6:00 p.m." I hinted.

Marinette POV:

When I spotted my bakery from afar, I used my yo-yo to swing it onto the railings of my balcony. I reached my balcony and opened the trapdoor and immediately flopped onto my bed.

I was exhausted. Very exhausted.

"Spots off,"

 A wave of pink light flashed in my room as I called my transformation off. When Tikki appeared, I gave her a macaron.

"Oh, Tikki, I'm so tired. And in pain." I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Marinette, you'll get better! Just have some rest." Tikki replied while chewing on her macaroon.

"Thanks, Tikki." I said earnestly.

After about five minutes of laying in my bed, I got up to get a first-aid kit. I opened it and took a gauze pad out. Then, I went to my bathroom to wash the wounded area to stop the bleeding.

This'll prevent an infection.

After that, I placed the gauze pad on the wounded area and used some adhesive tape to secure it around my arm. After treating my wound, I cleaned up all the materials used and flopped on my bed once again.

"Goodnight Tikki." I said as I held her in my hands.

"Goodnight Marinette." Tikki said in her chirpy voice.

I smiled at her and gave her a soft peck on her forehead before drifting into a deep slumber.
