Nance came to pick Eddie and I up, and to our surprise, jane, will, mike, dustin lucas and max were in the van, too.
"Im sorry i didnt know the little ones were coming too? Isnt this supposed to be like a party with alcohol?" I asked nancy, who was in the drivers seat.
"Oh yeah dont worry about them, they wont dare to try any alcohol, right guys?" Nancy asked, and the kids all nodded.
"Hey, Y/N, do you mind if you drive? Im kind of tired from driving." She asked, nicely.
"Yeah sure i don't mind, we're the last ones to get on, right?" I asked.
"Yeah!" She explained as she got out of the drivers seat and jonathan got out of the passengers seat, leaving room for Eddie.

"Oh its cool man you don't have to-" Eddie said before he was interrupted by sober Jonathan.
"Don't worry about it dude, i wanna be with my girlfriend, and you wanna be with Y/N, fair game?" Jonathan joked and they both laughed.
"Fair game!" Eddie answered.

We were driving to steve's and everybody was talking so Eddie put his hand in my thigh as i drove, which made me chuckle.
"Ooo~" Dustin teased from the back seat.
"Oh shut up kiddo" Eddie told him with a grin on his face. The older people chuckled at the joke.

"Aren't they like both guys or am i missing out?" Mike asked curiously, and I could feel Eddie tense up and so did I.
"Yeah but they're friends its's okay." Explained dustin, and we could sense robin start to doze off the conversation.
"Yeah but even if they were dating what would be so wrong with that?" Will snapped at mike.
"Yeah dude he's right." Dustin added.

"Who gives a shit anyway, Mike? Its their life and you dont have to make them feel ashamed for something that you dont even know is true." Max explained
"But theyre both guys" Lucas whisper-shouted. As the conversation went on i could feel myself start to get sicker.
"So what?" I was so tense at this point i kind of yelled at him.
"I dont know, i guess like, you dont see that much.."
"Who even are you amymore. Mike, Lucas, you've got to be kidding me, they're probably not dating and if they were its okay, we are the freaks, freaks protect freaks. Even if some of us aren't much of a freak anymore, lucas." Will explained, with his eyes watering.
Jonathan looked at Will worried but will gave him a quick nod and a sad smile, which jonathan returned.
"Well, but-" Mike started.
"No! I don't want to hear it! You are all talking as if we were not right here listening! I swear to fucking god, i'd turn this fucking car around, shut the fuck up, please!" My voice broke.
"Michael, come on, apologise to Y/N. That wasnt very nice of you." Nance whispered to Mike.
"Yeah you should consider doing that too, Lucas." Max 'glared' at him.
"But its just wrong-" Mike interrupted.
"If they were dating What would makes them so different from nance and jonathan, or you and el? Just leave them be." Max said, starting to get a little heated.
"Mike, Lucas, You're kind of giving all of us a hard time. Just leave them be, ok?" Will exclaimed.

I was starting to feel a little shaky because of how this conversation was going and i started looking down instead of keeping my eyes to the road, i could feel my eyes tearing up. Once everyone went back to talking except will who was next to Jonathan while Jonathan rubbed his back Eddie lifted my face softly with one finger.
"Eyes on the road, l/n" he whispered and messed up my hair, giving me his best smile he could at the moment which I returned.
"Whos this van from anyways?"  I tried breaking in the conversation.
"Steve's" Robin answered.
"Oh okay cool"
I stayed quiet, i didn't want to talk a lot anymore.

"I am so sorry Y/N i didnt mean to cause an argument like this.." Eddie apologized, taking off his hand from my upper leg.
"No, no, its okay its not your fault, its okay." I whispered back and i reached for his hand to place it on my thigh. We both smiled at each other.
