Bakugou had been kidnapped, and Ida had been unable to help. When the pros told them to stay in the main building, Ida did. When Ruby, Weiss, Kaminari, Kirishima, Jaune, Monoma, and Sun wanted to leave and help, Ida shut them down with Professor Vlad. When Kirishima and Sun tried to escape as Dabi attacked, Ida pulled Kirishima back. But when everything ended, Ida saw the destruction. He had assumed that the pros could handle a couple of villains, but there were more than he assumed. Ragdoll was missing and the other pros had all sustained serious injuries. The Wild, Wild Pussycats were in a frenzy trying to locate Ragdoll. Ida had seen the hospital reports. Midoriya was still out from his fight with Muscular and watching the kidnapping. Pyrrha had broken her leg in the forest. Penny had been treated for something, but the report was classified by General Ironwood himself. Ren and Nora had been exposed to so much gas that their health was declining steadily. Blake was treated for burns given to her by Dabi. Yaoyorozu had received severe head injuries and her room was off limits for a while.

Yaoyorozu's room was opened later in the afternoon. Ida had gotten there first and sat next to her.

"How are you?" Ida asked her.

"Better. You?" She sounded tired.

"Guilty."

"Huh? Why? You stayed back like we were supposed to."
"But we failed, and I didn't do anything. If the rest of us had helped, maybe we could have prevented what happened to Bakugou."

Yaoyorozu held Ida's hand.

"If you keep wishing it happened differently, you'll never do anything to improve it. You didn't help then, but you can help now." She advised Ida.

They stared at each other for a moment. Ida appreciated how beautiful she looked with her long black hair down.

"How do I help? There's nothing to go on, the pros are panicking themselves." Ida said, refocusing.

Yaoyorozu smiled fully.

"When Penny and I were being chased, I made a tracking device and stuck it on Magne, the muscley villainess."

She opened her other hand with a blinking device. It had a blinking dot on a building in the city.

"Yaoyorozu, you're amazing." Said Ida in awe.

She smiled, and then All Might and a detective came in. They politely asked Ida to leave so they could talk about what happened. Ida stepped into the hallway as Kaminari came out of Midoriya's room.

"He's awake!" Kaminari announced.

Everyone crowded into the room. Ida stood close to Midoriya with Uraraka and Kirishima.

"Have they found Kacchan yet?" Midoriya asked.

"Not yet." Uraraka said, holding Midoriya's hand.

"We've got to do something!" Midoriya exclaimed, sitting up.

He had been healed at the hospital already and was moving his wrist to check if he was fine.

"We can't do better than the pros-" Jaune began.

"Yes." Kirishima interrupted. "I couldn't help before so I gotta help now."

Ida looked at his feet and felt Kirishima staring at him.

"Ooo, rescue mission! Count me in!" Ruby said.

"Not you!" Ida said, looking at Ruby. "You throw yourself headfirst into danger and always accomplish nothing! Torchwick? The infiltrator? What have you done to think you're some amazing hero?"

Ruby looked upset.

"Fine. Maybe I'm not that great, but I want to help!"

"How? What's your plan?"

"Do you have a plan?" She spat back.

"Yaoyorozu planted a tracking device on a villain. We can follow it, sneak in, assess the situation, and either rescue Bakugou or go back for the pros." Ida explained.

Kirishima nodded.

"I'll come." Todoroki said.

"I'm coming too." Midoriya said, sitting all the way up.

"Bakugou won't be happy to play the damsel in distress. We should let the pros do this." Uraraka countered.

"I say go for it." Said Yang. "I'll come."

"Midoriya, Todoroki, Ida, Yaoyorozu, Yang, and I are going. Anyone else?" Kirishima looked around.

"I'm only coming to keep you all in line." Ida said.

Ruby shook her head angerly and stormed off.

"I'd come, but my father is considering taking me out of school without breaking the law. I'm very sorry." Weiss said.

"I'm not going." Blake said firmly.

"Me neither." Tokoyami said.

"Guys, this is crazy! We need to trust the heroes and let them save Bakugou. If you go and do this, then you're no better than the villains." Tsu explained.

The rest of the class began trying to discourage the people going. Ida couldn't be swayed. Pyrrha agreed to join as well, and the rest of the class reluctantly agreed not to spill.
