Vice Principal Nezu had asked Tsu and Pyrrha to come with him while the class were working on weapons. Kendo from class B was there, too. The three girls followed the vice principal, exchanging confused glances. They made it to the headmaster's office and were told to take a seat. Headmaster Ozpin, Professor Midnight, and Qrow were there. Vice Principal Nezu left.

"I'm sure you three are wondering why you're here. You've been selected for an extremely important task. I have decided to inform you of something that might shock you. I believe you three are mature enough to handle it." Ozpin began. "Do you want me to continue or would any of you rather leave now."

Pyrrha felt nervous but stayed. Kendo and Tsu stayed as well.

"You girls are very brave. Now, first, have any of you heard the Story of the Seasons?" Ozpin asked.

"Yes." Pyrrha said.

"Is that the one where four sisters are given magic because of how nice they are to some guy?" Kendo asked.

"Well, sort of." Tsu said. "The first sister helped the man introspect, the second sister gave him fruit and gardened for him. Then the third sister helped the man embrace the world, and the fourth and final sister begged him to look around and be thankful for what he had. The man was so touched he offered the sisters powers and they accepted, promising to do good until the end of time."

"You're a great storyteller, Tsu." Pyrrha said. "Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall; The four maidens. My mother loves that story."

Ozpin smiled. Qrow rolled his eyes and leaned back on a column. Midnight sighed and squeezed her arm.

"Would you believe me if I told you that one's been around since I was a boy?" Ozpin asked.

The girls giggled.

"You're not that old, Professor." Kendo said aloud.

Ozpin stopped smiling, staring seriously at the girls.

"Would you believe me if I told you, it was true?" He asked.

"I beg your pardon?" Pyrrha asked uneasily.

"What if I were to tell you that there were four maidens existing in this world, that could wield such tremendous power, without Dust"

"You mean... like a quirk?" Tsu asked.

Ozpin gave a small smile.

"Quirk isn't the actual term for those little abilities 80% of the population has." Qrow butted in. "They're semblances."

"So... like a 'semblance' then?" Pyrrha asked.

"Like Magic." Ozpin revealed.

Pyrrha was befuddled. She wasn't sure what was happening. Magic didn't exist, what was her professor saying?

"Yeah. First time hearing it's pretty crazy." Qrow said, poorly stifling a giggle.

"You're serious?" Kendo asked.

"Do I look like I'm joking?" Ozpin asked.

He didn't. Pyrrha felt her stomach turn.

"Why are you telling any of us this?" Pyrrha asked, overwhelmed.

"We're telling you this because you three have been selected to receive the spring, summer and fall maiden powers." Ozpin said.

"Wait, what is this?" Kendo asked.

"Who are you?" Pyrrha asked, standing up.

"The same headmaster and teachers you've always had. And we need your help." Midnight said.
