" yes.. thats the only song you both know well." Ari speaks claping her hands once.

"i ... don't think it will work." I mumbled disheartened . my eyes fell on a hands as i looked up at the person. It was jungkook. He handed e his hand signalling me to join. "trust me once." He says . Hesitating at first i gave in onto his hands trusting him this time.

The contest started and after few performances our nmes were announced. The first few performances were very beautiful which kind of demotivated me somewhat. I mean the song we prepared weren't the one we were performing cuz it was palagraised.

"and the next performer are mrs.y/n and her partner mr. jeon jungkook. " the judges announces on the mic as the auditorium fills with loud cheerings and hootings. I felt jungkook grips on my hands tightened as i looked up at him. he blinked once flashing a small smile that kind of shined like a ray of hope on the darkest time of mine. Putting mic on our dresses we both stepped on the stage which was whole black .

3rd person POV :-

The audience hooted and cheered for the next couple . the auditorium with the stage turned black .

"i...i cant do this." Y/n stepped back mumbling unaware that her mic was on. The whole auditorium turned silent as another voice unaware of his mic being on spoke " you can. trust me once. And you will."

Exchanging glances the two couples stepped on the stage holding each others hands as the spotlight fell on them. the whole auditorium was silent and all everyone could hear was y/n's heavy breathing on her mic sticked to her dress. y/n looked at jungkook and the two were deeply lost into each other as they took their seat on the two chairs arranged on the stage. Holding onto each others hands the two kept looking at each other. until jungkook starts singing .

The room fell silent when jungkook's voice took over the whole auditorium.No sooner the other angelic voice joined jungkook's melodious voice along the guitar strings.

All the audience could feel was the song. The way the two sang along each other . there voice matching like a pair of ice cream with chocolate. Sweet and sweeter. And their chemistry made it more pretty for the audience. The way they both looked into each others eyes while the whole song. The way they both were lost into each others eyes deeply forgetting about this being a competition . no one could say the two were enemies because in there hate there was their love hidden somewhere.
