Tails: That one.

Tails pointed at a random one. There was no helping Sonic by choosing one.

Eggman: Very well.

Tails left.

Tails: I have to get Sonic out of here. He'll be in big trouble.

Tails ran to the Holding Cells.

Tails: C'mon, we're getting out of here.

Sonic: Mmm?

Tails unlocked the cell and picked up Sonic basically giving him a piggy back ride like a child would.

Sonic: Mmm.

Tails: Be quiet, I'll explain later.

Sonic: MMMMM!!!

Tails: Sonic! Quiet! You need to get out of here! Stay quiet so no one finds out!

Sonic stayed quiet.

Tails: Okay. Now let's go.

Sonic: He better explain what the heck is going on here.

Tails carried Sonic to the cave they had been hanging out in. He removed Sonic's gag.

Sonic: What is going on?

Tails: Eggman is insane. He's going to use torture devices on you Sonic!

Sonic's eyes widened.

Sonic: What!?

Tails: I had to get you out of there. Now stay here. I'm going back for a ring to teleport you home.

Sonic: Wait!

Tails: No time Sonic, you have to get out of here.

Tails flew off before he could say another word.

Sonic: Will I ever see him again?

After a few minutes Tails had come back.

Sonic: Tails.

Tails: What?

Sonic: So I'm never going to see you again?

Tails stopped in his tracks. He hadn't thought about that.

Tails: F-for your safety. No. We won't be seeing each other anymore.

Sonic: This is all happening so fast! We met what, three weeks ago, became boyfriends YESTERDAY, and now I'm never going to see you again!?

Tails: I know. But it's for your safety! You don't know what types of devices Eggman made! You're not safe here.

Sonic: So this is it then. I just leave. My life will go back to normal.

Tails looked sorrowfully upon Sonic.

Sonic: But that's the thing. I'll miss you Tails! My life won't be the same!

Tails: Aw. Look at that. The cutie cares.

Sonic looked up at Tails.

Tails had tears falling down the sides of his face, accompanied by a fake smile.

Sonic started crying too and hugged Tails.

Sonic: Damnit Fox, why do you have to work with Eggman!? Come home with me!

Tails: Your parents won't accept me.

Sonic: They accepted me! And Knuckles! So please! Just try.

Tails: I-

Sonic: Please.

Tails: Fine.

Sonic smiled.

Sonic: Let's go then.

Tails: I'm sorry you won't have your speed anymore.

Sonic: I don't care. I'll still have you, and that's all that matters.

Tails felt heart broken to hear those words coming out of Sonic's mouth, knowing he would feel absolute betrayal.

Tails gave the ring to Sonic, and Sonic threw it. It appeared in the kitchen of the Wachowski household.

Sonic walked through.

Sonic: Come on!

Tails looked at Sonic.

Tails: Sonic, I'm so sorry. Please forgive me.

And with that, the ring closed shut.
