CHAPTER 1.

"Papa?" Kaeya calls out. His eyes darted around the glass room. "Papa. what is that?" Kaeya asked. He hid behind his father. The taller man held his hand. "You mean who is that?" Kaeya's father says with a loud chuckle. Kaeya's eyes squinted, looking at the robotic creature.

"Who is that papa?" Kaeya repeats himself.

"Who knows, perhaps a friend, lover or even an enemy." Kaeya's dad tightens his grip on Kaeya.

Kaeya gasped.

"Ew! Not a lover, that's super gross!" Kaeya proclaims, his voice going high pitched.

Kaeya's father laughs at the young boy. -"perhaps"

"...Is he...real, papa?" Kaeya asks again. Looking at the lifeless body from the other side of the glass

"He will be. If this experiment turns out to work out."

"Oh! so he can be my new friend!" Kaeya says with cheeriness in his voice.

"Yes, but don't get your hopes up high." Kaeya's father warns, his eyes darken.

Kaeya pouts at his father.

The back doors abruptly opened.

"M-My Majesty! Ahem...you have a visitor." A guard storms in, catching his breath.

"I will be there. Kaeya leave this area and goes to your room. It's not safe to be here by yourself, ok?" Kaeya's father states as he slowly walks off.

Kaeya nodded and ran out of the glass room, heading to his room.

It had been weeks ever since that event.

Kaeya couldn't get the living but not actually living boy behind the glass room our of his mind.

The blue head laid on his bed. There was nothing to do. He watched the grandfather clock tick.

A knock came from his door.

Kaeya got up and shifted to his door.

"Kaeya?" A voice comes.

Kaeya opens the door. "Papa!"

Kaeya's father smiles down at him.

"It's ready"

Kaeya's eyes widened in excitement. His eyes glimmering against the strong light.

"Really papa? Is he really ready!?" Kaeya exclaims in excitement.

Kaeya's father walks out of Kaeya's room, indicating the boy to follow him.

"Oh papa! I'm soo excited!! I won't be bored anymore! I'll have a friend other than Dainsleif!"

Kaeya's father nodded at the boy.

The two reached the glass room.

"Are you ready?" Kaeya's father asks.

Kaeya nodded his head eagerly.

A large door opened and a blonde boy walked in front of Kaeya.

Kaeya's body tensed up, looking at the smaller boy.

"Um..." Kaeya hesitated as he gulped looking up and down at the blonde.

"Good..." The blonde says, his voice dry with no flavour.

"Good?"

"...Good... morning Prince Kaeya Alberich." The blonde says again. His voice, so dry and boring.
