Kaeya was breathing heavily.

The warm water stung his open cuts.

"I'll have to be careful with soap" Crepus chuckles

Kaeya stood silent.

"Uh, this is soap." Crepus shows Kaeya the bar.

"Soap..." He mumbles while trying to touch it.

"Yes, it'll help you clean up" Crepus says with a grin.

"Soap clean Kaeya?"

"Yes!" Crepus says, glad that he was able to make sentences already with the new language.

He's so quick to adapt... Crepus thinks to himself as he carefully lifts Kaeya's arm.

"You're all clean and you can wear my son's clothes." Crepus says, wrapping a towel around the delicate boy.

Kaeya stood silent, not understanding a single word that came out of his mouth.

Crepus chuckles at the young boy and walks him to another room.

Kaeya grew wary of his surroundings. The smell of grapes filled the air with other scents of greenery and flowers.

It smells like the royal gardens back at home. Kaeya couldn't help himself to think so.

"Kaeya?" Crepus asks.

Kaeya lifted his head in the same level as Crepus.

Crepus shows an outfit. "Do you like this?" Crepus asks.

Kaeya tilted his head. "Hm?"

"Oh urm..." Crepus pointed to him, created a heart shape and then pointed to the clothing while asking slowly 'do - you - like - this?"

"Yes" Kaeya replies, extending his arm and clenching tightly to the sleeve of the outfit.

Crepus smiles and helps the young boy into his new outfit.

Kaeya overhears a yelp.

His body tenses as he eyes the area where the scream came from.

"Stay here." Crepus orders Kaeya, extending his arm and flattening his hand out.

"Yes," Kaeya replies.

Crepus calls out to the yelp and another voice falls after it.

Before Crepus could leave the room a young boy comes out.

He looked like Crepus.

A young version of Crepus.

"Diluc, what's wrong?" Crepus asks.

The young boy stared at Kaeya.

Diluc. Kaeya thinks he felt uneasy with the staring.

"Father! ...I want to play with Thoma" The young boy states, not leaving his eyes off Kaeya.

"Oh, is that all? Of course you may." Crepus replied.

"...Father, who is that?" The young boy asks.

"Oh...Diluc this is Kaeya," Crepus shows.

Crepus signaled who the young boy was "this - is - Diluc, - he - is - nice"

"Diluc..." Kaeya says.

"Father, why are you talking like that?" Diluc asks, growing suspicions.
