At school the next day at break i wait patiently for maddie so i can explain what the hell happened to me last night. She shows up wearing green velvet pants, a cropped black shirt, her good old Nike air forces and her hair in a messy bun.

I tell her everything, she makes comments throughout the whole thing, she threatened to hit Rowan for ignoring me in class, i tried explaining i will talk to him about it and in the end she says "wow. If only he knew it was you, August!"

I laughed "you know that can't happen, i don't even know if we're friends anymore" i forced an awkward chuckle and shrug

"oh my goodness A, I told you I'd hit him! How long is this gonna go on for?" She asks that all the time. I say the same thing. "always" I smirk.

She shakes her head in disapproval "have you asked Rowan to the dance yet?"

I think about lying to her but she knows me too well. "About that" i lick my lips before blurting out everything about Jenny and Rowan at school yesterday. Yes. I tell Maddie everything.

"That son of a bitch!" She comments before adding "I'm gonna speak to him, where the fuck did that come from!? First It was ignorance in class, and now a message!? His a fucking wuss and won't say it to your face."

"I know, it's ok M, he was probably having a bad day" i reassure her she sarcastically nods and says "mhm, yeah, a bad day. Bad day my ass August, that's just rude"

the bell goes, i smile before grabbing my bag and waving bye "bye M" she rolls her eyes and waves back.

I adjusted my jeans and my short red and white shirt, as I brush my hand through my wavy brown hair and fix my red cap that matches my red shoes. I turn my phone on to look at my timetable. Just great. I look at my timetable to see 'economics' next. It was the only class I looked forward to, but I don't know what to expect this lesson.

To my luck Jenny walks in just before me and makes her way to the back of the room. I have a feeling of betrayal from Rowan. Does he not want me to sit next to him anymore?

She goes to sit down in my spot but I'm not gonna give up that easily, I'm getting my spot back, with or without Rowan.

I stand tall and walk over to my spot "hey" i sigh, looking at Rowan's head, he looks down avoiding eye contact, he stares at his green shoes and black cargo pants.

I scoff "i really wish i could have my seat back" i glare at Jenny in which she returns with a frown "that sucks" she smiles.

I look her up and down, and bite my lip. 'Ok that didn't work' I thought. Plan B.
