I noticed Gareth was a little bit quiet, so i decided to talk to him

-Hey, what's wrong?- i said walking beside him

-uhh what? Oh nothing, nothing, why?- he said, looking at me

-come on tell me. Pleaseee- i said, putting my hand like this 🙏🏻

-its nothing!!- he said and laughed

-ok fine. Wanna listen to some music with me?- i said smiling, offering him a headphone

-sure!- he said, taking it

-soo what to you want to listen? I have... the smiths, tears for fears, the clash and Metallica with me right now- i said, looking in my backpack

-tears for fears! If you want to- he said, smiling

-yeah!- i said

We sang "everybody wants to rule the world" the whole way to lovers lake. We laughed and danced all the way till the lake.

-Gosh how i love this man- i said in my mind, while looking at him laughing.

We arrived to ricks house

-Eddie??- said jas

-uhh guys, i dont think he is in here- said max, pointing at a warehouse behind the house

When we entered the warehouse, it sounded terrifying so i grabbed gareth's hand tightly and looked at him

-sorry- i said, letting go of his hand

-no, no its ok- he said smiling and grabbing my hand again

Jas and dustin laughed, they were behind us

-SHUT UP- i said, blushing

Steve started hitting a boat with a cover on with a oar multiple times

-gosh just take the cover off!- said jas

-fine fine- said steve taking the cover off

Eddie jumped out the boat and threatened steve with a broken glass bottle on steve's neck

-DUDE CALM DOWN WE WONT DO NOTHING TO YOU- said steve, a bit scared

-YEAH EDDIE ITS ME DUSTIN- said dustin

Eddie looked dustin in the eye, he was scared.

-eddie, we believe in you. They wont hurt you. See? This is robin, from the school band- said dustin, robin mimed like she was playing the trumpet.

-and max, she is a friend of mine just like steve. Lower the bottle Eddie, trust us.- added dustin making a gesture for Eddie to lower the bottle

-we are in your side, i swear for my mom- said dustin

-we swear- said Gareth

-for dustin's mom- said robin

Eddie looked scared. Terrified. He dropped the bottle and sat down on a box. Jas sat beside him and grabbed his hand. They looked at each other and then gareth looked at me smiling. I smiled at him back

-eddie, we want to know what you saw that night when chrissy died- i said, looking at him

-if i tell you you wont believe me- he said, with a shaky voice and with tears in his eyes

-try- said max

Eddie told us every detail of what happened that night.

-do you think i am crazy, right?- said eddie covering his face with his hands

-we believe you eddie- said dustin

-dont lie. I know what it sounds like- said eddie

-do you know they say hawkings is cursed?- said dustin. We stayed in silence for a few minutes

-they are not...that wrong, there is another world hidden below hawkings and sometimes things from that world come to ours.- added dustin

-like ghosts and that shit?- said eddie

-there are things worse than ghosts- added max

-the monsters from the other world were supposedly gone. But they have came back other times, that's why we needed to find you- added dustin

-that night....did you saw something?- asked robin to eddie

Eddie shook his head

-i tried to wake her up but she didn't move.... Like she was in a trance or something- said Eddie

-or under a spell.....- said dustin

-a curse.... Vecna's curse- i added, then i looked at Gareth nervously

-who is vecna?- asked steve

-a living dead with a lot of power- added gareth

-a sorcerer, a dark wizard- said Eddie looking at jas

We decided to go to look for more information

-jas, are you coming?- asked dustin by the door

-i'll go later, let me stay with eddie for a bit- responded jas, smiling

We got in steve's car and headed back to school so we could search for more info.
