Season 2, Episode 2
3rd person POV:
"It like... like.. I'm stuck." Will said. He had another episode. But this one was more terrifying than the last one. "Like, like, stuck in the upside down?" Mike asked. Will sighed. "No... you know on View-Master, when it gets, like..." Will was trying to explain with his hands, but Mike then said, "Caught between two slides?" "Yeah, yeah. Like that. Like one slide's our world and the other..." Will's hands began to shake. "The one slide is the Upside Down." There was a pause. Mike looked at will with a worried face. Will looked at Mike, then forward. "And..." He took a deep breath. "And there was this noise coming from everywhere. And then I saw something...." Will started to shake more. He kept on taking deep breaths. "The Demogorgan?" Mike asked. He had a worried mixed with curious expression on his face. "No." Will said lightly, as if it was a whisper. "It was like.... this huge shadow... in the sky... Only.. it was alive. And it was coming for me." Will looked like he was staring into space. There was another long pause.
Mike looked down at Will's hands. They were shaking a lot. He then looked at the floor, and shook his head lightly. "Is this all real?" He asked. "Or is it like the doctors say, all in your head?" "I don't know. Just... " Will shook his head lightly and took a deep, shaky breath in. "Just please don't tell the others, okay?" He asked sadly, looking at Mike. "They won't understand.." Mike didn't look back. Instead, he looked at the floor. "Eleven would." Mike replied. Will looked away and stared at his hands. He was confused. Who is this 'Eleven' girl? And why does Mike always talk about her?? Maybe its because he... likes her? Will thought as he bit his lip. The more he thought about it, the more he started ti worry... worry about Mike pushing him away.
Will thought Mike was looking away and thinking about El, but he was wrong. Very wrong. Mike was looking directly at him and was thinking about him. Mike looked at Will's hands and and face, but he payed close attention to Will's face. Why? Because Will had a sad expression on his face. "Hey, Will?" Mike finally said. Will stopped biting his bottom and looked at Mike. "Yes, Mike?" "Is something else bothering you?" "No? Why?" "Because you look like something else is bothering you." Will's eyes widened a bit. Wait... so he saw me? He thought. "Nothing else! Just the episode." He replied a little too quickly. Mike didn't believe it. Instead of letting the conversation go, he hugged Will. "Its okay Will. I won't tell anybody. I promise. Just, please, don't be sad.." Will hugged back. He smiled. "Okay. And I promise I won't be sad for the rest of the night." Mike broke the hug and smiled at Will. "We still have 30 minutes left. Wanna go home now or stay here until its time to go?" "I think I'll stay here. But what about the others?" "I think they'll be fine without us. They are obsessed with Max anyways" Mike rolled his eyes. Will giggled. "Oh shush. Shes nice!" "Whatever" The two boys ate and laughed together the whole time While Max, Dustin, and Lucas kept on trick-or-treating and saying 'Totally Tubular'
