After a chaotic 45 minutes of cleaning herself up, Brooklynn finds herself walking to the door to open it for Timothée.

"Hey" He said softly looking up as the door opened. He leaned in for a friendly hug which she reciprocated.

"Hey" She said through an exhale once they released.

They both stood there for a moment looking at each other until Timothée spoke.

"You uh ready to go?" He asked scratching the back of his neck.

"Yea... oh shit wait I need my purse just give me one second" she mumbled making a bee line for her room and quickly noticing it might take her a second to find seeing as her room is a complete mess.

"You can come in Timothée! Make yourself at home" She shouted from across the apartment.

He hesitantly made his way in shutting the door behind him. He then allowed himself to scan the room around him. He saw photos of Brooklynn and what he assumed to be her roommates.

He sat down on the couch and noticed a book shoved in between the cushions. He gently pulled it out and read the title, Little Women. It looked like an old copy, a bit worn down as if it had been read many times over.

"Oh! Sorry about that, I forgot I left it there" Brooklynn speaks quickly as she re-emerges from her room, strategically shutting the door behind her to conceal her mess.

"Don't be, I love this book" Timothée remarks making the girls eyes grow wide.

"Really? I've never been a big reader because I can barely sit still for that long but I have always been able to read that book" She said smiling at the tainted copy in his hands, it looked better in his hands, she was beginning to think that everything did.

He smiled at her before she could notice him and then stood to his feet.

"Shall we?" He asked raising an eyebrow a playful smirk displayed on his lips.

"After you Mr. Chalamet" Brooklynn responded in her cheesiest French accent causing Timothée to roll his eyes.

"Never do that again" He said, his back facing her as he walked out of the room.

"I will make no such promises!" She yelled in an accent that was basically just British. He turned around smiling at her.

"Let's go you dork" He said as he pulled her by the arm and gently gave her back a shove so she now led the way.

The second Brooklynn felt the cold New York air her mood was immediately better.

"So what was the spot you had in mind?" She asks smiling up at him.

"Just trust me" He responded cheekily looking out at the street.

She rolled her eyes and the two long legged young-adults moved swiftly through the streets.

After a few minutes of walking they reached a more populated part of the city, Brooklynn struggled to stay with Timothée who was more accustomed to the area.

Right when she completely lost sight of the brown haired boy a hand reached out to her and was pulling her to their side.

"Almost lost you there" He said looking down at her.

"Eh I was right behind you" She lied dryly causing him to smirk.

As they continued their journey through the thick of a bustling Hell's kitchen Timothée never let go of her hand.

Wether it was that he didn't want to lose her or that he really appreciated the contact was up for interpretation. Regardless, Brooklynn didn't seem to mind.
