**back to Brooklyn's pov

The smell of spaghetti tickled Brooklynn nose as she awoke.

Faint sounds coming from the google home that was still playing music but was quiet enough that she could still hear Timothée's hums.

She smiled a bit touching the ring that has already become her new favorite possession and feeling the ghost of Timothée's presence that had been next to her on the couch.

She sat up and stretched.

"Good, you're up" Timothée sang from somewhere behind her.

She nodded, too sleepy to speak yet. Reaching for her phone she scrolled absentmindedly as she heard clattering of plates moving around.

"Here" He said moments later placing a warm bowl in front of her and handing her a fork.

She thanked him quietly and held the warm porcelain bowl in her hands. It reminded her of the days where her mom would make her warm soup on a cold rainy afternoon.

"Are you going to try it" He asked peering at her from above the couch.

"I don't know," She glanced at his empty hands, "Where's your bowl? How do I know this isn't a trap?" She teased him, but at this point she felt like she was teasing herself because the spaghetti smelt amazing and she was way past hungry.

"The chef eats last" He said with a smirk.

"Nope not buying it" She said with a mischievous chuckle.

"Fine, I'll take a bite," He started, "but then you will too"

Brooklynn nodded.

She watched as he pulled the fork from her loose grip and dipped it into the bowl. He chewed slowly not breaking eye contact.

"See," He said, "I'm still alive, now your turn"

In a swift motion he dipped the fork in for another bite and ever so lightly grabbed her chin causing her lips to part.

"Open" He said softly.

And she did.

Her eyes widened as the pasta and the sauce hit her tongue. Timothée's hand still resting on her chin.

"Woah!" She exclaimed, "That's like really good!"

"Really?" He asked, eyes widening to match hers.

"Yes! It's like really fucking good!"

"Well I'm glad you like it. I made enough so that Ashley can have some whenever she gets back, figured she'd be hungry after traveling and stuff" He mumbled.

Her eyes softened at the kind boy in front of her. She couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"You are not real" She deadpanned.

"What?" He asked with a laugh.

"There's no way that you have the status that you do and aren't an asshole just like everyone else" She explained, "you aren't real"

"I hate to break it to you but I'm real" He said with a shrug, "All 6 feet 4 inches and 200 pounds of muscle are real. They might seem to good to be true but-"

Brooklynn cuts him off from his sarcastic flexing, "Shut up" She says pushing his shoulder.
at
"What? The ladies love these guns" He said continuing to flex laughing to himself.

"Boy put those away!" She yelled pulling his sleeve back down. He couldn't fight the laughs.

"You're so dumb" She said through giggles.
