I woke up at 9:00 AM yet again, grateful I managed to schedule my classes in the afternoon. I was feeling pretty sluggish today, and wanted nothing more than to just relax all day and watch Netflix.

I eventually got up and made my way towards the kitchen. I was immediately frightened by the sight of a girl in my living room. She didn't look like a robber nor did she look like she had any weapons, she was just sitting on my couch like it was nothing. Maybe she was drunk and somehow came in? While, that may be the case naturally, I was still very fearful.

"Um, excuse me? Who the hell are you and why are you in my apartment?!" I yelled, now fully awake.

She looked back at me and raised a brow, then proceeded to look around the room. Like she was trying to figure out who I was talking to.

"Hello?!" I questioned still looking directly at her.

"Me?" She finally spoke.

"Yes, you! What the fuck are you doing in my room?"

Her eyes widened. "Wait. You can see me?" She said with genuine confusion, and a bit of excitement?

"Are you on drugs? Of course I can see you! You aren't exactly hiding!" I officially think a crazy person has entered my home.

She just stared at me deep in thought.

"Listen, I don't know what you're on, but you need to go! Before I call the police!"

The stranger continued to stare at me and look around my apartment.

"Okay, you really need to leave!" I said as I made my way over to her.

I went to grab her arm, but instead my hand went right through her. "What the fuck..."

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe you can actually see me!" She squealed in excitement.

Meanwhile, I was trying to figure out if I was the one that somehow took drugs.

"Alison, it's me! Zoey!" She smiled at me.

Okay, I'm asleep and I need to wake up. This is all just a dream. I tell myself as I slap my face with my hands.

"Alison, you're not dreaming! This is legit happening right now!"

Oh my God. This is it, it can read my thoughts which means I have got insane.

"Alison?"

"I can't. I can't deal with this." I said as I made my way towards my room. "I'm crazy. I'm actually crazy."

"Alison, you're not-."

I turn back around to see her abruptly stop right in front of me.

I raised my finger at her. "You. Figment of my imagination, do not talk to me. I refuse to succumb to your tricks! And I just woke up so that's probably adding to my delusions."

She seemed hurt, but I refused to let myself look at her a second longer. I quickly got ready and left for university.

Thankfully, I only had photography today. I sat down in the classroom and drank my much needed coffee.

"Hey, mind if I sit by you?"

I looked over to see Colby smiling at me.
