Wyatt POV

The pack makes their way into the school and Willa picks a vent to hide in. Across from the vent is a locker that says "FREAK" on it. I go in last smelling Hira on the locker.

Hira POV

I walk up the Zed and Addi with Eliza
"Ugh, you guys even fight like a perfect couple." I smile at the two and Zed pulls me into a hug so I end up standing next to him now. Eliza and Addi talk for a bit while Zed pokes the bracelet that belongs to my soulmate. I smile and wave at the three and go to my locker, I see FREAK written across it and sigh softly then I open it. I hear a small growl and look around seeing some light come from the vent that's infront of me. I ignore it and get my stuff, I'm wearing my cheerleading uniform so I quickly fix my hair into the usual style it's in of the two small ponytails like of like pigtails but not all of the hair and two braids that start near my ears. I fix the ponytails and make sure the pink ribbon tied around them looks decent. I noticed that some more hair has turned white and sigh..I get my school supplies for the first two periods and close my lockers. As I do some football players walk by me and whistle while checking me out. I glare at them and growl for some reason..

Wyatt POV

She's a cheerleader...she keeps getting better and better! Wait...it looks like some of her hair has grown white, that's different from the first time I saw her. She seems to notice it and sighs while looking confused. She grabs some books that seem to have stuff on them and closes her locker after fixing the cute ribbons in her hair. Some guys walk by her and check her out whole cat calling her. I growl lowly and she growls at them? I thought she was just human? I shake it off and watch her walk away with a small whimper.

Hira POV

I stand with Bree and Addi while we're forced to cheer for Bucky. Eliza is behind me and chuckling while I look grumpy. The principal makes a fool of herself then the band starts to play. The crowd is split and Bucky makes a flashy entrance as usual. I shake my pom poms looking board as hell. I look at the crowd and see Zed laughing at me so I scrunch my nose at him in a playful way. Bucky does some flips then goes on stage. The principal goes to high five him but he dodges it, mean. I zone out again while swaying softly. Eliza behind me holds onto my arms so I don't fall just in case. Addi noticed and nods at her.

Wyatt POV

I finally leave the vent and bicker with Willa a bit. One of the pack members decided to touch silver. He yelps and tosses the silver to someone who grabs it by the silver part. She passes it to someone else, they grab the silver part then he tosses it to Wynter.
"Ah! Silver! Oh..pain! I can take it." She holds onto it for a few seconds while her skin burns before throwing it up into the air. I catch it by the wooden bottom and put it back. We go to the gym area where all the noise is and I smell her, Hira. An intoxicating smell of Vanilla and honey with some scents of the forest? I smell the air making Wynter laugh a bit and Willa roll her eyes. We all peak our heads up the door as the same boy who hugged my mate is talking. I growl seeing him and Willa puts a hand on my shoulder. Someone saw us and yelled that we were here. We enter the room and I stand in the front with Willa and Wynter. Everyone goes running while the boy yells
"Football team, Defense, Z 24!" The white haired girl tugs my mate with her behind the football jocks and she seems to snap back into reality looking confused. She looks at the white haired girl then looks at me. She looks shocked but smiles a bit. The boy from earlier puts a hand on my mate and seems to drag her back a bit
"One of them is your soulmate right?" The boy says
"Right in front..the boy" she whispers softly then grabs onto the white haired girl. Willa has the werewolves flash their eyes and teeth ready to attack. I have her make them stand down and she does. She puts on a fake smile and says
"Sorry. We werewolves so admire your town and we just came here to join your school." I smile a bit and look at Hira who is still looking at me. She begins to sway a bit making the white haired girl look at the boy. She nods and he hugs Hira so she leans on him, it's like she zoned out. I growl out
"Mine" making everyone hear and time seems to stop. As I say that we're allowed to stay and join the school. The white haired girl comes to us and welcomes us. We laugh awkwardly and the football jocks separate. The girl grabs onto my mates hand and drags her forward making her come back to reality. She blows some hair from her face and looks at me, I smile at her and go forward. Everyone watches me and snowflake backs up going back to the zombie boy. Hira doesn't move as I approach her.
