Brooklyn's POV:

I groaned and reached over to my nightstand, grabbing my ringing phone, not even checking caller ID as I answered.

"I'm not a milf!" Ellie sobbed and now I opened my eyes.

"What?! Yes you are! Of course you are! What's wrong?" I asked after assuring her.

"George is at work and I'm alone with this one month old baby for the first time. One month! And he left me alone! Grayson won't stop crying. I've changed him and fed him. And I haven't taken a shower in how many days or eaten proper food. The last time I ate was three days ago and it was an orange!"

"Okay, calm down. I'll be right there." I said as I began to get out of bed.

"No, babe you don't need to. It's your day off. I just really needed to rant."

"I'm coming. And with food. Give me a couple of minutes."

"I love you." She whimpered then hung up. I quickly threw on leggings and a hoodie (along with panties and a bra cause Fred is one horny man) and disapparated from the house. I already took my BPD pill, I got up with Fred two hours ago and took it in front of him because he doesn't trust me to take it myself. He shouldn't.

Since El didn't say what she wanted to eat, I got a mixture of things then went to her place. I knocked on the door then opened it, the knock just took warn her she wasn't getting broken in to.

The first sound I heard was a baby's cry. I walked into the kitchen and put the food on the counter then walked up the stairs to the baby's nursery where El was finishing up changing a diaper.

"Hi, thank god you're here." El said as she picked Grayson up. He stopped crying as soon as she slipped a soother into his mouth. She laid him down in his crib after.

"Is he okay to stay up here alone?" I asked and she nodded.

"As long as he doesn't cry, he will hopefully fall asleep." She sighed as we both walked out of the room, right before we walked down the stairs we heard his cry again. "He likes to be held all hours of the day. George and I don't want him to get in a habit of only being good when in someone's arms, even if he's only a month old. Eventually he will figure it out. Babies are smart."

"Can I just hold him now while you eat?" I asked.

"Brooke, you don't have to actually do anything. I don't want to make you feel bad."

"I'm helping you." I stated.

"Okay. Do you want to grab him?"

"Wait, you're trusting me to walk around with a baby in my arms?! Fred would be shaking his head no so fast right now!"

"I trust you Brooke. You got it." She said.

"Okay." I said then went back to the nursery, grabbing the sniffing baby and cradling him in my arms. "Hello there. Remember me?"

He reached his arms up and my heart did a little flip. He's the cutest baby ever. His green eyes are the perfect shade, it's the same colour as El's but as weird as it sounds, he has the same mouth as George.

I went back out to El and we walked down the stairs together, heading to the kitchen. "Oh my god, food." She groaned.

"I didn't know what you wanted so I got pizza, fries, chicken, and hamburgers."

"I fucking love you." She grabbed the fries and pizza then sat down at the table. I sat down next to her and criss crossed my legs up on the chair.

"He doesn't understand anything I say, right?" I asked.
