"Look Brooklyn." My mom smiled and pointed to the screen where I could see the black and white picture of the baby- fetus- pumpkin seed, I don't know. It was my sibling I guess.

"I see." I muttered.

"Brooklyn," my dad sighed, "be nice. This is a big thing for all of us."

I still cannot look my father in the eye and know how that baby got in my mother.

"Look, I'm very happy that you're pregnant. I'm very happy that I'm going to get a sibling 24 years after I was born. But I need to go for a hike in a huge ass forest with my army of friends at the end of November and probably get hyperthermia. I'll see you later." I huffed.

"Brooke please." My mum said and grabbed my hand.

"I have somewhere to be mum. I said I'm happy. But this is for you two, not for me. This baby would probably be mistaken as my baby and not my sibling so..."

"We'll see you later." She said and kissed my cheek.

"Wait you're going hiking?" My dad asked.

"Yeah," I sighed, "Kalen and Draco's idea since apparently we don't spend enough time together."

"You have a map right?"

"No dad. We're free handing it."

"You do know there are bears and other wild life"

"... I have Fred."

"What's Fred going to do?"

"Save me."

"How?"

"I don't know. Carry me while I bawl my eyes out."

"Who's going?"

"Um, me, Fred, Ellie, George, Lee, Leo, Kalen, Lexi, Draco, Claire, James, Cami, Luca, Kobe and Whiskers." I listed off.

"Who are the last three?" My mum asked.

"Whiskers and Kobe are dogs, Kobe is mine and Whiskers is El's. Luca is Cami and James' five month old baby boy."

"They have a baby?!" My dad asked.

"Yep, El's next but you know about that." I sighed.

"Do they know the gender?"

"They're waiting till birth." I said. "Um, hold on a second." I said as my phone began to ring, I answered it as it was Fred.

"Bee you better come back here right down. I'm about to punch Kalen in the face." He groaned and I smiled a little.

"What's he doing?"

"Acting himself."

"Please don't kill him." I sighed, "what time are we supposed to be leaving?"

"Nine. We have an hour." He mumbled.

"I'll be right there." I hung up then looked back at my parents.

"If you're leaving in an hour you won't have enough daylight to hike wherever you're going unless it's a short path." My dad said.

"It's Meredith's Trail." I said.

"That's going to take forever Brooklyn!"

"... we're camping over night."

"You're going to get eaten by a bear. Spray your tent with some type of spray." My mum said.

"We're not using tents. Just sleeping bags." I whispered.

"I sort of hope you get eaten by a bear now." My dad sighed.

"We're going to be okay dad. I have to go though or else Fred is going to murder Kalen. Bye, love you."
