The group walked back into the fancy white tent to fetch bottles of water before they could leave to rest up before Yuno's trial for the next day. Truthfully April couldn't have been bothered to attend the court case. It was hot, her feet were aching and she already had plans to go to a spa treatment with Bleach. They had just finished with their performances at Wuchella and Randy finished debuting his song so there wasn't much else for them to do but enjoy the festival. She knew that Ray was worried about her brother so she put aside her exhaustion and forced herself to gain back her good mood. Besides, going to the Manor would be advantageous for her because she would likely see Marty there.

The foolish man seemed to be sharing more and more about himself with her. April wasn't dumb enough to let her guard down but she knew her charisma could make even the most stubborn people fall in love with her. Mr K made the effort to tell her that she had no time constraints but she still felt the pressure of not messing this up. If she fucked up she would let the person who tried killing her family get away. They were ready to exit the tent when she heard a feminine voice softly call for attention. She thought it must have been a fan so she painted a smile on her face to appear excited. The fake smile on her face was immediately wiped off when she turned around and saw Carmella. This was the first time she'd seen the woman in weeks.

"Can we talk."
"Sure" It wasn't like she could have said no without causing eavesdroppers to spread rumors.
She wondered what exactly the woman wanted to talk to her about. She already had an inkling but she hoped the woman in pink had the decency to not make a scene at Chang's event.

"You guys leaving already?" Corset asked her. They probably would have stayed for longer if they didn't have to be at the court case early. She smiled politely and nodded, quickly explaining that they needed to go. Carmella was staring at the redhead as if she wanted the conversation to continue so she complimented her outfit and her performance with Liz. The blonde, who was wearing a long black wig, started talking about how intimidating it was performing in front of so many viewers and how she was nervous to mess up the choreography.

"Anyway enough of that. Now for the actual reason why I stopped you." April was glad the woman stopped herself because she was going to do it for her. At least now she didn't look like an asshole for interrupting her.

"So I wanted to check how you're doing."
"Pretty good. Music is in the works. I've been vlogging like usual."
"Oh. I saw you vlogging earlier."
Even her conversations with Harry Martinez had more life than this.

"So I wanted to invite you to my wedding, if you wanted to attend. In fact, I was hoping you could sing a little something." The shorter woman said.

April felt like she was taunting her; Finally Carmella won while she came out as the obvious loser in the situation. The redhead silently studied her without moving. She frowned and then pressed her lips together. She wouldn't make a scene. Ursula had already worked her butt off in trying to get the hotel pictures deleted by the paparazzi. April was grateful that the only picture that was leaked was flattering and somewhat modest. Not that the others didn't look good, Ursula made a point to inform her, she just didn't want the world seeing her naked. She couldn't deal with the headache that came from the PR.

"I don't think Ramee would appreciate me singing at your wedding." She blankly pointed out. Why would she even ask her to do that? April was nice to everyone she met but she couldn't fathom what would make the bride think she would agree. Does she think I'm a doormat?

"Why would Ramee have any control over my wedding with Vasily? Or is it that he doesn't want me and you to be friends?" Her button nose was wrinkled with her head cocked to the side. Carmella seemed genuinely confused. It took April a few seconds to grasp her reply because all she said was "huh?" in her familiar goose-like fashion. At this, Carmella looked like she was hit with a sudden realization.
