"Turn here."

"We're not stopping at the fucking mall."

"If you didn't want to stop at the mall then you should've warned me about where we were going." Ramee huffed as he did as instructed. Once the man parked the pink car into the parking lot he made sure to text Karen, who had texted him earlier to inform him of Randy and Ray's arrival at the mansion.

He followed her into one of the expensive stores without further complaint. He would never tell her but going to the mall was actually a great idea because he needed to get some actual food to eat.

The two entered the busy mall at three in the afternoon and despite the amount of times she was stopped by fans, it was a relatively quick trip. Ramee didn't know when the influencer contacted someone at the store but as soon as they arrived they were escorted by some of the security guards to the store. They even had an area sectioned off that had a rack filled with color coded options that were set out for her. The woman didn't take long; she just asked for them to ring up all the clothes without trying any on.

"Charge 1043 please." April said with a bright smile, without even turning back to ask him. They both knew that it was not necessary because he handed the employee his card easily.

Ramee was man enough to admit that he was quick to fold to April's demands. He was especially malleable to her requests after the night they had spent together. A few thousands were nothing compared to her sweat coated pomegranate skin. He still had a lot of unanswered questions though. He was waiting for her to bring it up without being prompted but he should've known that the secretive woman wouldn't say a word.

"We need to talk." They were already back in the car and all of her shopping bags were stuffed into her trunk. She didn't even notice his serious face because she was staring at her reflection while she carefully wiped off the pink lipgloss. The Siren was delighted with how the tiny flecks on her lips flashed and glimmered in the sunlight. Once the shimmery product was removed she began pouting and making fish faces at herself, entranced by her own beauty.

"April."
"Hmm?"
"We need to talk."

"What is it?" She said as she twisted her hair into a lazy rose on top of her head.

"You tell me. You're the one killing Jean Paul's brother." Her arms were still up in her hair when she stopped to stare at him, shocked that he finally asked her. Her face switched through several different expressions until she landed on indifference.

"No I didn't." She said as she continued twisting her hair, lowly muttering about how she needed a haircut. Ramee felt the hope seep out as the disappointment settled in. She was lying. Again.
"April. Just- just tell me the truth for once."

"I didn't want to tell you because you would overreact."
"You killed his brother and you think I would've overreacted? April what the fuck?" What type of mental gymnastics did she have to do to get to that conclusion. Ramee was impulsive and he fucking hated Jean Paul but even he wouldn't pull the shit April was attempting. He didn't even know the reason for her descent into madness.

"He did it."
"Did what?"
"Planted the bombs at the gallery."
He went silent to process her words. He was pleased to hear that there was a plan in motion to make that bastard pay but he wasn't happy to hear that April was practically solo in handling this matter.
"You can't kill the whole fucking gang by yourself."
"I don't plan to." She shrugged and rubbed her hands together with apple scented hand sanitizer.
