April's pleasant hums coupled with the light taps of her manicured fingers on the steering wheel could be heard over the muffled sound of the Los Santos streets. She was driving her pink LFA carefully as she reached the neighborhood where the Clean Manor was situated. The woman was headed to meet Yuno, who had invited her to hang out after her meet up with Marty. April and Yuno weren't really close but she had accepted his offer to hang out anyway.
The argument between Marty and X was still something of relevance. Jean Paul's final words to Marty face her the feeling that Yuno's connection to X had a deeper meaning than what he pretended. 'Yuno was right. You are weak." The parting words were harsh and brittle and they were obviously intended to hurt. She may not have known the context but she was on a personal mission to figure out just what the hacker's role was in Jean Paul's life.
April was still angry at the thought that she could have easily lost everyone she considered family during their Christmas party and she was not giving up on getting her revenge. She believed in an eye for an eye so if someone was willing to hurt her family and her son then she would do the same back to the culprits. Jean Pierre Baptiste was just the beginning. She had an involuntary dimpled grin at the thought of her conversation with Marty.
The man had spent well over ten minutes venting about Jean Paul's ill-treatment. In his anger the Gulag Gang's second in command didn't even realize that he was feeding her vital information. According to Marty, the other Paul sibling was coming over for the funeral soon. Instead of making it completely obvious that she was thrilled at the news she pulled the skinny man in for a hug and told him that all would be well. "He probably doesn't mean to push you to the side. He's just grieving." She comforted. Maybe acting is for me. The celebrity nodded with an evil grin.
When she arrived at the manor at two in the afternoon nobody was around, besides Tony Corleone and a few housekeepers buzzing around in black and white uniform. The man was dishing up some pasta when he informed her that Yuno was still at X's house supporting his friend after his loss.
Apparently Yuno was so surprised at Jean Paul's sad voice that he's dropped everything to go visit him, which was how April ended up being served his portion of Spaghetti.
"Where's everybody?" She asked as he placed a burnt orange bowl of pasta on top of the marble island (Apparently Lang didn't want anyone eating on the white couch and he was especially touchy about his grandmother's dining table and chairs.) The redhead kindly thanked Tony for the food and immediately began eating. "People have jobs April. Not everyone sits at home doing nothing because their sugar daddies buy them shit." Tony laughed when April playfully pushed him away. The lines around his eyes and mouth writing stories of happiness and contentment.
"So I hear you're dating Marty." He said after sitting down on the kitchen stool. At his statement she put the sliver fork back into the bowl and huffed out air from her nose. She should have known he would bring that up.
"We're not. Everyone thinks he's dating me." April decided to be honest while it was just the two of them. Tony was like a brother and she hoped that he wouldn't spread any gossip about her; besides, if he tried she would deny and call him out for being a liar.
"What about Ramee?" She closed her eyes and sighed again. This seemed to be a common follow up question whenever someone asked her about Marty.
"It's complicated."
It really wasn't that complicated but telling Tony that she was waiting to kill the GG leaders and everyone who was involved in their attempt of murdering her family would make her sound slightly psychotic. The news of her intention to murder people he considered friends probably wouldn't go too well over the bolognese (he made sure to tell her that it took hours to cook).
