You know that sleep could be an addiction too. That is the middle moment when all the stress and anxiety go away. All the problems find their pause button and the only thing that you feel is peace.

And peace could be so tricky sometimes. It makes you feel full and calm but in reality it's the most confusing feeling. While you feel the calmness all over your body, the stress is just waiting for the right moment to kick in. The problems eats from the free time the got and become bigger with every second you fall for the peace.

Some people say that this feeling is the same as the feeling 'love'. We all know how it looks like and what if feels like but in reality it's just a chances exchanging for pain and change.

And there comes the moment. The fear, the pain, the emptiness that Summer felt. It's been weeks since she last saw him or heard from him. Hunter chose his path leaving her at the crossroad. And she was lost. Haven't done anything productive in days. The depression and anxiety kicked in too fast and she was scared to feel.

She knew that she paid for somebody's mistakes and it wasn't fair. All she ever wanted was a normal life. Summer dreamed of having a family and dinners. Fights with kids and ocean vacations. In the exchange for her dreams she got a complicated life with choices she couldn't chose.

And that burned her soul. It killed every inch of caring in her soul. Her heart felt like stone, it weighs felt heavier than her own.

And getting up from bed was hard. So she didn't do it.

In that several weeks Hunter didn't felt better than her. He continued searching for answers. And now his dad being back gave him even more questions.

The only thing that haven't left his pocket was the necklace. Her necklace. Every  night he looked up at the moon wishing he could hold her a little more.

He talked to the moon like he was talking to Summer. It was hard to let her go but it was harder keeping her there. It was harder to protect her from something she had nothing to do with.

"Why you punish yourself like that?" Lilith bring him a cozy blanket and put it on his shoulders. She sat there and listened from aside everything he had to tell his girl. And it hurt her too.  After Isaac's death Hunter had nothing left. He haven't felt the feeling of the comfort and when he felt it, it was ruined again.

"She deserves a lot more than just some world, ma." He hugged his grandmother. "She is the sun. And you know how the sun works. It's beautiful but unreachable." He sighted.

"But I was ready to burn." Lilith could swear it was a tear that fell down his cheek. The salty water was a lot more than just a fallen tear.

It felt like fallen angel from heaven.

"It's the masquerade ball tomorrow. You have to be there." She said handing him a invitation. It was the classic golden invitation with some names and other words on it. Death's family haven't took a place in it from years and now being invited meant a lot. It meant that some answers could be found there.

Was she going to be there?

Is she alright?

This questions didn't left his head. His mind was working only when he was thinking for her. Other wise it was pitch black.

"She is the host."

His brain stopped working for a second.

She was the host.
