"Mom! They're going to be here any minute!!! Please help!" I yell downstairs as I'm frantically trying to hide anything for my treatments or any sign that I am sick. "Honey, I'm sure they'll understand. I have to tell Molly and Arthur anyways so they can keep your medical equipment in a safe spot. And keep you safe. And make sure you follow the guidelines. And-"

"I get it mom. But I'm not telling anyone I don't have to." I inturrupt her. She just sighs. I hide the last thing by shoving it behind the couch. Everything I need is in my trunk, including my medical supplies.

Just then, Arthur comes out of the fireplace. I watch it go back to normal size as he enters the living room. "Hello y/n, y/m/n, nice to see you guys. Is y/d/n here?" Arthur asks, looking around in awe at our house. Although he has seen our house many times before, the way Muggles live never stops fascinating him.

"No, he's at work, nice to see you too Arthur!" My mother greets him. Fred comes through the fireplace and George right behind him.

"Hey y/n/n!" They say in unison.

I take in their presence, observing the way they have grown. They have somehow managed to grow a couple more inches and their ginger hair is now to their shoulders. They were wearing matching striped shirts, George in orange, Fred in green.

He looked good in green...

What am I saying!?

"Hey guys!! " I say as I hug them both and shake away my thoughts. "What's that? A new bracelet?" Fred asks pointing at my hospital band on my wrist. Oh dang it! How could I be so stupid! I forgot to cut it off!
"Did a boy give it to you?" George teases , wiggling his eyebrows.

I pull my wrist away before they can see it for what it really is. "Umm, no. It's just a home-made bracelet. It's uhm... broken actually. I'll go take it off..."

I run to the kitchen and quickly cut it off. I am about to throw it away when I remember the doctor told me to save it for future reference.I curse under my breath and I shove it in my pocket and walk back to the kitchen, feeling light headed from running there.

When I re-join the twins, Ron and Harry also appear. They picked up Harry before me. " Harry!! How are you?!" I say hugging him and ruffling his hair. Him and Ron have always been like little brothers to me. "Good. Nice to see you y/n" I hug Ron too and the resume my conversation with the twins.

They start telling me about how they used one of their new products on Harry's cousin but I'm not really paying attention. I start to feel sick but I ignore it, knowing if I run out or do anything rash everyone will know. Not to mention my mother wouldn't let me go.

I have to hide everything now. I have to act like everything's okay when it's not.
I just have to play it safe.

We arrive at the Burrow and all I feel like doing is throwing up. But I put a smile on and go to hug Mrs Weasley.

"Y/n!! How are you dear? You look as pale as a ghost!" She exclaims.
"I'm good" I say. Then Mr Weasley pulls her aside and starts talking to her quietly. I already know what they are talking about. The same thing my mother told him before we left. The situation no one else is going to find out.

Fred appears in front of me. "She's right, you have looked pale since we picked you up...are you okay?" He asks, concern spreading over his face.

"Yeah ...I'm fine" I say casually. I knew that I always looked pale now, but I was hoping no one would notice. "Ginny!" I said embracing her in a hug. "Hi y/n!!!" She says back. She has matured quite a bit. I guess she's not the little girl that used to follow me around anymore.

Now I'm really feeling sick. I excuse myself to use the restroom. As soon as I'm in there I let the sickness take over.

How many times!? I ask myself. I sit there trying to regain strength and look normal. There is a knock on the door. "Y/n? Are you okay you've been in there a while..." Fred's voice says from the other side of the door. "Yeah all good!" I reply. Even though its not. I flush the toilet, wash My hands and step out.

Fred's standing by the door. "Are you sure your okay?" He asks again.
"Yes I'm fine!" I say again, and little angrily. I walk past him back into the living room. He follows me but I just ignore it. As I'm catching up with Hermione, who arrived yesterday, Molly and Arthur call me over to them.

Oh no. I already know what is going to happen. As I leave everyone keeps talking barely noticing I'm gone. I feel a pair of eyes on the back of my head but I'm not sure who's .

"Y/n dear I'm so sorry. Your parents told us everything" Molly says as soon as I'm over by them. "I'm fine really. I just don't really want to talk about " I say back as we continue our whispered conversation.

"We understand dear. Just please tell us if you need anything or if you don't feel good. Were you sick just a minute ago? You were in the bathroom for a while" She says. I can't lie to her, she's to sweet and caring. "Yeah but I'm fine now. I just feel a bit faint."

"Come sit down then I'll make you some tea."

"Oh no it's fine I'm just going to go talk to the twins."

"Okay...but don't push yourself beyond your limits"

"Okay. Thank you" I say ending the conversation. I walk back out to the living room and luckily we were quiet and no one was listening. "Oi! there you are! Where were you?" Fred says, wrapping his arm around my shoulder, making me turn crimson.

"Just catching up with your parents" I say.
"Well, we are all heading out to play Quidditch in the yard, want to play?" George offers. I'm just about to say yes when I remember, I can't. And even if I did, I would probably faint . Not to mention Mr and Mrs Weasley know that I'm not allowed play.

"Umm... I'm good" I say quietly. "What!?" George and Fred exclaim.

"But you love Quidditch!!!!"

"You are a Gryffindor Chaser!!"

"You make the most points for our team!" The twins rant.

"Guys, I'm just going to watch" George opens his mouth to say something but I already know what he's going to say. "Yes. I am fine. I just don't think I'm going to play Quidditch anymore." I bite my lip as I let out those dreadful words. "But why not y/n/n?" Fred asked with plead in his voice and concern in his eyes. Those beautiful brown eyes. You could get lost in those for hours...but now was not the time.

"I just think I need to put my academics above everything this year. It's our second to last year at Hogwarts. If I want to be a professor I need to study" I say as I walk outside, the twins following me. "The team needs you" Fred says. This makes heat rise to my cheeks. The team doesn't need me. No one needs me, especially in my condition.

I sit down by Hermione on the sidelines. Fred and George give me one last sad look before joining the others at the makeshift Quittich pitch. They pick teams: Ron , Harry and Ginny and Fred and George.

I watch as they play, so wanting to be out there with them, beating the younger kids butts. But not this time. Or this year.

Or maybe never again.
