Playing it safe [ Fred Weasley x reader ]

"Okay, y/n, you are officially cleared to go to school." The doctor tells me. "Yes! Thank you so much!" I sat to him. I tried to stay as calm and collected as I possibly could. I didn't want to spaz out,  it may make the doctors rethink their decision.

"But you are still sick. You go to a boarding school right?" He asks me. I nod my head. "Okay,  because you won't be with you parents you need to have your school nurse know everything. Here is a binder of all your medical paper work." He passes a binder the size of two dictionaries to my mother.

"Also, because of your symptoms,  no extra curriculum. No sports , clubs, and anything that will tire you out."

"What!?"

That means no Quidditch, no Care of Magical Creatures Club and no Hogsmade trips!

"But-" "No buts. This is to keep you safe." The doctor cuts it. I roll my eyes. I would tell him that nothing he's doing is helping me or keeping me safe, but then he definitely wouldn't let me go.

I am positive This will be the worst school year yet.

My mother wouldn't let me to Diagon Ally to get my school supplies, So she went for me. While she was gone, I got a letter from Fred. I opened it up and started reading it.

Dearest buttface, (Aka y/n)
I have exciting news! Our dad got tickets to the Quidditch World Cup and you can come! So come two weeks early, as you already were and we leave the day after you get here! See you soon!

The Quidditch World Cup!!??? If I can't play it, might as well watch it. No way in the world will my parents let me go. They already said yes to going to the Burrow, if I don't do to much physical activity. A Quidditch game mean cheering, setting up a tent, and walking. Things that my parents will not agree to. Unless, I don't tell them...

I write Fred back saying I'll see him there. What my parents won't know can't hurt them.

And it won't hurt me.
