Brendons POV
I look down at the body that now laid on the floor in Emerson's dressing room. I couldn't comprehend the person I was staring at. Kenny had always been a good friend of mine. He was put up to this, and now he's dead.
"Why would they make Kenny do this?" Dallon croaks, Kenny was the closest with Dallon, they were best friends before the band even started. I knew when I shot him I broke Dallons heart.
"I'm not sure," I shake my head, " probably because he knew we wouldn't think of Kenny that way, Kenny was someone we could trust."
Dallons eyes glaze over, before he clears his throat and leaves the room.
"I'll go grab the girl." Spencer sighs, following Dallon out the door. I sit down on the couch and rub my hands through my hair. Why would he be back? After everything we have done for him, after what he's stolen from me, and now making Kenny join his side, he was back.
"Emerson's gone!" I hear spencer yell, I rush out and run to my dressing room, seeing it completely empty. My heart rate starts to pick up.
"Was there anyone else here?" I ask.
Spencer shakes his head, "no, we should've been the only ones back here."
Shit, shit, shit.
"NICOLE!" I shout, she comes out of her room, drying her hands off, stains of blood covering them still after she just washed it off.
"What?"
"Emerson, where the hell is Emerson, she's gone and-"
"Calm down, I ran into Jimmy, he said he got her to the car and they took her back to the hotel." Nicole says. I let out a long sigh.
"Thank god, I'm glad she didn't see anything."
"Well, he said he found her in the hallway, she was by the door, so lord only knows what she heard." Nicole muttered.
She fucking cannot listen to anything can she?
Of course she can't.
Sarah would've done the same thing.
"Well," I groan, "as long as she isn't here, maybe she didn't hear anything."
Nicole shrugs, "all I know is she heard the gunshot, I heard her scream when it went off."
She screamed? I didn't hear a thing.
I was in my moment though, I don't usually hear anything when I'm in my moments.
I just nod, having enough of this, and walk out the door. The hotel isn't far, so I skip the car and begin to walk, pulling out a cigarette and putting it in my mouth, replaying the whole thing in my head, what I remember anyway.
Kenny was in there, he was hiding in the closet. He held a rope in his hand and a pocket knife when I found him. When he realized it was me, he began to plead for his life, begging to be spared.
"It's me," he said, "it's Kenny, please."
Once I called the others in there, we sat Kenny down, he began to explain why he was there, and who sent him.
And like I called, Kenny said he was back.
That son of a bitch was back and I needed him gone.
And then it all went black. I remember waking up from my moment and seeing Kenny now shot in the head, and laying in his blood on the floor.
I chuckle to myself, one down, many more to go I assume.
After taking a long drag of my cigarette, I walk across the street to the hotel. As I begin to walk in, I stop when I see our driver, standing awkwardly next to the car parked in the front.
