Emerson's POV

Since being off the plane, Ashton hasn't left my side. He really was taking this whole new being 'besties' thing serious. I'm fine with it though, I never really had friends growing up because of my dad, he would scare anyone off just by the way he always looked. Rough and jagged. Then when I started dating Kade he didn't let me talk to anyone. It was always him and I unless we were around his friends, and even then I couldn't talk to them unless they spoke to me first.

He was a real jealous asshole.

But since hanging around ashton so much, I feel myself becoming more comfortable with everyone. Nicole was my first girl friend and Ashton and I were getting along great. My friendship with Dallon is kind of strange, due to the fact he's best friends with brendon and dating nicole, but he's still someone I could go too for pretty much anything.

It was like being around a big misfit family.

Nicole didn't have parents, she was an orphan who went home to home, getting kicked out of each one since she was ten, she told me how they would always be scared of her, and what she could do, but she never knew why. She thought she acted like a normal kid.

Until she told me she blew up one of her foster parents cars cause she got mad.

Dallon hasn't spoken to his parents since he was eighteen, when the band started. They told him he would never make it big, and that he was making a huge mistake not going to college.

He proved them very wrong.

Ashton seemed to be the most normal one out of all of us. He was single, he had a good relationship with his family, and he was a sweetheart until someone crossed him or someone he loved. AKA me.

Brendon lost his wife, he was in a gang, one of the leaders I might add.

And myself, my own self being fucked up anyway.

We were all misfits in a society where we didn't feel like we belonged, but for some unknown reason, we all belonged together it seemed like.

We all had each others backs.

"I want to go drink before soundcheck." Ashton says, we were all walking down a road here in England, there were plenty of pubs everywhere. Brendon stayed a bit behind us all, probably too embarrassed to join us.

"I'm down to drink, I need one actually." I laugh.

Nicole and Dallon both agreed, and we search down the path for a place that looked good enough to go in. We settle on a bar called 'Sin city' and make our way inside.

The scene was far from what I expected. It looked more like a club. there was a bar lined with seats, in which a lot of people sat. There were little tables and chairs, and a small dance floor that was packed. Lots of people dancing along to the music that played.

And wouldn't you know it, the song was from the band.

'La devotee' was blaring through the speakers, brendon looked annoyed, but everyone else found it funny. He went alone to the bar and sat down, talking to the bartender, who then brought him a beer.

"I wanna dance!" Nicole smiles to me, I shake my head almost immediately.

"I can't dance, I'll look like a fool!"

"Who cares, we don't know these people!"

I thought about that for a moment, she was right, we don't know anyone here, and we leave first thing tomorrow morning to head back to America for the rest of the tour.

What could go wrong?

"Fine!" I give in, Nicole gets all jittery and grabs my hand, pulling me out. Sweaty bodies all around as we began to dance. A new song was playing that made the crowd go wild, I didn't know it, but I didn't care.
