Third Person POV: In the arena
"NEXT UP IS... SHOTO TODOROKI VS HANTA SERO!!!" Present Mic announced as the two fighters entered the arena and the crowd cheered.
"NOW... BEGIN!" As soon as Present Mic mentioned the beginning of the match, Sero instantly shot tape out of his elbow, wrapping it around the stoned face boy and was about to swing him out of the Arena.
But before Sero could, Todoroki made a large glacier, instantly freezing the boy and giving the rebellious son of Endevour the win.
"Good job!" The crowd clapped, feeling a bit sorry for the tape user.

"NEXT MATCH IS... Ibari Shiozaki, the assassin from Class 1-B VS Denki Kaminari, the human Pikachu from Class 1-A!!" Present Mic said as the fighters for the third fight came out to determine who gets to go to the next round.
When the match began, Kaminari tried to use his quirk on her but failed miserably and ended up getting captured with Shiozaki's vine hair.
This gave Shiozaki the win.

The next battle was Tenya Iida VS May Hatsume... but it wasn't really a "battle"... it was more of a showcase.
Hatsume basically used Iida as a toy to help her show off her inventions.
In the end, Hatsume gave up as all she was there for was to show her creations or as she calls them, "her babies".

Mina Ashido VS Yuga Aoyama had Mina as the winner as she dodged all of Aoyama's attacks and knocked him out.

Momo Yaoyorozu VS Fumikage Tokoyami had Tokoyami pushing Momo out of the arena with aggressive attacks made my Dark Shadow. The human bird won the one sided battle

Eijiro Kirishima VS Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu was a draw as both of their quirks are striking similar, so they did a rematch with a small arm wrestling game and Kirishima came out on top, but they did earn each other respect.

The last match of round 1 was Ochako Uraraka VS Katsuki Bakugo. It didn't go well for the brunette.
The blonde Pomeranian held nothing back, giving out powerful explosions one after the other and countering any move she made. Uraraka even made a mini meteor shower but surprisingly, he countered it with a large explosion. The crowd thought he was going overboard. The crowd booed him or this.
Ochako fought hard, pulling some fast ones on Bakugo and surprising him, using the smoke he made against him and getting a bit too close for comfort. But eventually, Uraraka fainted out of exhaustion, making Bakugo the winner.

"NOW... THE FIRST BATTLE OF ROUND TWO WILL BE IZUKU MIDORIYA VS SHOTO TODOROK!!" Present Mic screamed. When their names announced, the two fighters came out as the crowd roared.
